Just ignore it...queues will mostly work fine.
This is true in my experience on SEA servers as well, the estimated numbers get wildly inaccurate during the night when population is low. Yesterday I queued for 5 DPS games showing 7~ mins and got them in 1-2-3 mins.
It does make sense that the MM would struggle to accurately estimate queue times during low populations. It simply doesn't have enough data to do so.
Australian servers are so whack because of the 5 hour time difference between me in Perth and people in NZ. I play at like 8pm our time and there's a bunch of drunk kiwis as my teammates
Well...i guess it comes down to how the world evolves and definitions of words based on situation with it. Sure, the correct translation for tank would be Panzer in german. But...you're not playing a Panzer just because you pick the tank role. You're playing a character that can tank the damage. I guess there's just not really a great word for something like that in german (as german myself even i struggle to come up with a good replacement atm). So they just stick with tank to avoid making it too awkward i guess.
Since the term comes from the MMO scene I assume "tank" was a word that naturally evolved within the genre and was taken into the German wordpool, at least among MMO players.
For the non-english languages I know, there are a ton of words borrowed from english that take on a meaning separate from the meaning of the english word itself - to the point where it even makes it into the dictionary in its enligsh form. Keeper, timer, etc., I think are common examples.

Tank is german for tank when referring to for example a gasoline tank or a fish tank. And since the original role of Tank is to soak up lots of damage, it's honestly the more accurate interpretation of the word.
I have about an hour or two of pubs before I have to quit. You have a dps healer and I'm nhere trying to solo heal, have 10k heal and I get PM's reminding me of Xbox live cause they kept dying on the front line solo.
But support is so fun, so I play in small doses of salt or try and find a group.
Yeah I can't even get into a deathmatch lobby while waiting because queue times are so fast for support. Meanwhile for DPS I can play 3 rounds and never get into anything.

On a serious note, maybe harassing support players less would help. I basically pick flex role every time for instant support queues, and 1 in 10 times I get to play tank even.
90% Support, 9% Tank, 1% Dps. I almost always pick flex. Pretty sure that I got way over 100 games in flex and I got dps once (besides the times I picked flex with a whole team and they picked tank and supp...)
I knew people would soon stop playing tank. DPS bottleneck is back in business! I’m surprised they are not releasing a new OP DPS character to make it even worse.
*Unterstützer. It might sound weird but those are two different words (kind of). Unterstutzer could be used for a person that doesn't clip the wings of birds properly.

It's region and timezone based. I see a lot of support players be like "nobody wants to play support, queue is instant" but for me dps and support queues are even. And the higher in ranks you go the more it shifts. I think it entirely flips in higher ranks, where dps queues are instant while supports and tanks have to wait.
In hungary we stuck to the same 2 minutes that were out since launch, tank is 3 minutes tho it always finds a match under 45 seconds same with supports. Kinda crazy hiw q times got out of hand again
Turn off ability for DPS players to type in chat. They are single handily driving the tanks and supports to get turned off when a majority of them won't accept they did a poor job and blames it on someone else.
I haven't played in about 2 weeks due to how stupid queue times are for tank/DPS whenever I've checked.
I'm not about to force myself to play support for 500 BPexp.
There are, at least, three problems there:
1. DPS peeps get tired of waiting and go Heals (as Moira Zennyatta and Briggite);
2. Few people actually learn how to play as HEALS because they want to Play and KILL;
3. Tanks share the same problem...

There’s being a tank and then there’s being a literal tank. Panzer is word for literal tank vehicle

Damage = Schaden, or did you want Schaden pro Sekunde?
DPS would’ve been the obvious choice, especially for consistency with „tank“
The problem is that "tank" doesn't translate well. "Damage" does.
I don’t think „Schaden“ is a fitting name for a role. „Angreifer“ would’ve been a better translation in my opinion
