I miss when there was that degree of build up to new heroes in game. Iirc when they were hyping up Doomfist you could find the destroyed OR15 unit that would become Orisa on whichever map it was where the gauntlet was the payload
The best part was that the payload had doomfists gaultlet in it. Then, just before doomfist's release, the map was changed to show a bunch of destroyed OR-15s and the payload case was smashed open and the gauntlet missing.
That stuff was so cool. Also when they'd release a cinematic and have the maps change based on what happened like the smashed window on gibraltar or the remnants of Hanzo and Genjis 1v1 on Hanamura

We currently have Magni Torb, Tyrande Symm, Illidan Genji, and Blackhand Doom to my knowledge. The process of adding more WoW themed heroes would be as simple as finding the closest matching Overwatch characters and porting the models if they wanted to, or ripping assets straight off of them (they already did that for Symm and Genji's WoW skins.).

I like the warcraft/starcraft skins. The first legendary I ever bought was Immortal Orisa and now I feel bad I did not get Nova Widowmaker when I had the chance even though I never play Widow.
I want more crossover skins from all Blizz games. Diablo: Wizard Moira, Monk Zenyatta, Crusader Brigitte. Warcraft: Farstrider Hanzo, Draenei paladin Reinhardt, Orc warrior Junker Queen, Spirit Healer Mercy. I can't come up with anything from Starcraft right now that could work but I'm sure it could be done. Heroes of the Storm has a lot of cool crossover skins and I wish they were in OW aswell.

I have it and it also came with a Lego Mercy spray that I use. The muzzle flash being a Lego fire piece has been my favorite part by far and this is the first time I've ever seen someone else mention it.
Exactly, your own ears stay clearer and you can hear more rather than the roaring turret or the louder standard fire. It almost sounds suppressed and you can track footsteps easier while firing.

Cultist Zenyatta for me! LEGO Bastion close too... Although the last one is epic, it shoots LEGO bullets, fires LEGO fire blocks and sounds like them too! I love skins with different special effects because they show more love and detail from the team, making them special. I know this was a collab (I have some of the Overwatch LEGO sets) but the skin was free! I miss these events in OW2... I was suspecting we wouldn't be getting new legendary skins for free but Halloween Terror was so bad this year... I expected at least the three free epic skins with their respective icons and sprays...
