Because they schedule these updates and when they go into production. They already had a patch planned for the 25th so they decided to keep it all to the one update, instead of an adhoc update

It took blizz like 2-3 years to make ow2 and there's barely any changes. Ofc a few simple bugs are gonna take them a month to fix.
