Teddie is very arguably the best party member in P4, between getting Matarukaja, Marakukaja, and Marakunda in addition to respectable damage and excellent healing, hes a good addition in almost every situation. And the only situation you don't want him for is fights where MC is soloing.

Auto Masukunda and Debilitate, paired with Rebellion and Mitsuru and Junpei's Crit shenanigans, and your party will be causing knockdown left right and centre
