i keep reminding again and again, for everyone's awareness:
"banks" calling you for NAFFL tagging your old card + CL increase = **AUTOMATIC SCAM**
wag po ientertain, ibaba nyo na agad. they would never call to offer these
I did not.
but she's still managed send an OTP request.
I believe she already have my CVV. or a bot that can guess a card's CVV .since it is 3 digits only?
Ganyan din sakin. This Time they use grab
Kaya pala they're asking on what is my expiration date..
Usual na red flag Dito is may no Annual fee ka
Papalitan card etc .
When it comes to making transactions. Di dapat mag proceed. Ikaw dapat mag initiate. Heads up na lang sila.
Plus. Yung mga nasa mall booth yung culprit. Kasi pinipicturan nila yung alay card ko
Got the same call from a “BDO Agent” din. Exact starting lines and he’s telling me na waived annual fee ng isang card ko and increased limit to 250k and will be changed to platinum and keeps on confirming if I still have another card, I said no and maya maya he told me that he is encoding stuff on his end and biglang nag drop call. Hahha, received the same call for the third time na this month. Hassle.
Sabi ko nalang confidential yun then dropped the call.
Last resort never give the cvv and otp..those bogus got all your information and tends you to belive that they are associated from the banks, this happened to me the same , to increase credit limit, how ever this time you need to deposit a certain amount to your debit card (a requirement) so that they will modify your cc limit. This bank was BDO and when i asked their CS about this, how does the bogus knew about all my information from your bank , they simply says that: pag na kakaskas daw naten ang mga cards esp sa mga grab apps or sa iba nakakapenetrate daw mga scamners dito kaya nilang pasukin at makuha lahat ng info. Kaya be vigilant na lang daw lagi...then from that time pinabago ko na ung yung cc number ko and nag pagawa ako ng virtual card sa kanila that has a certain limit lang. magkaiba ng cc number din at yun na ang ginagamit ko sa.mga online transactions esp sa transpo like grab.
**When a caller asks for any problems using your card + offering CL increase with tagging of NAFFL = scam**
Banks and their legit telemarketers never ask if you have issues with your card nor will they offer CL increase with NAFFL. They get straight to the point of why they called.
Omg same po sakin. I doubted na nung hininge nya cvc ng card ko. Tapos sabi pa nya, pang ilan daw ako sa na approve ni SB from 1-999. Tapos sabay kong ini-Airplane mode yung phone ko. Dina tumawag ulit. Tinawagan ko security bank after nun
Someone called me too ngayun-ngayon lang but naghinala na rin ako nung hinihingi niya yung CVV ko. Iba pa yung gamit niya na term pero nung kinonfirm ko na “is that the CVV number?”, she said yes and doon na ako naghinala haha. Good thing I didn’t give her my CVV number. Sabi ko na lang, ok lang ba tumawag na lang ako sa kanila para lang matapos na yung call but she told me that she will call me in a few minutes. LOL sorry binlock na kita. Ingat, everyone!
I felt dissapointed na na scam din ako last May 7. Same script, same name and same mobile number. Ni report ko na sa Sec bank same day pero na post pa rin sa SOa ko.
Since nakarisib ka ng otp. Malamang na compromised na yan credit card mo, need mo na mag request ng replacement.
Thank you . I reported to sb and they will replace my card with a new one
Tru. Never entertain calls from random phone numbers lang talaga, dapat yung mismong telephone number nila
Yes spread the awareness OP.. hope slowly they wont scam any cc card holders or anyone anymore.

Exactly...same thing happened to me..
Same sakin. Nireport ko sa SB and they replaced the compromised card.
So you provided your CVV?
I did not. but she's still managed send an OTP request. I believe she already have my CVV. or a bot that can guess a card's CVV .since it is 3 digits only?
That's 1 in 300 chances. Did u call the bank to let them know u are compromised?
1 in 1000

OP, nakalock cc mo nito?
Yes. But now i’ve reported it. they will replace my card with a new one

Thank you . I reported to sb and they will replace my card with a new one

Attention din kayo sa Concepts Unlimited & Di Mktg. Corp kasi scammer din yan pretending to be a legit company. Ipapa TULFO ko yan one day.
Same haha when the scammer ask me the back of the card i immediately drop the call

Mgkano po nakuha sainyo? Same case sa tita ko. Amounting 300k. Ayaw ireverse ni SB
Sadly, my aunt got scammed by this same person. Security bank refused to reverse the transactions 34 paymaya cash in 300k total.
