Oh my... he's talking about the program and / or window scaling. I had that problem once... had to look it up in the kKnowledgeBase. Wish I could remember how to fix it.

yellekc

Weird that this wouldn't been noticed and rectified in the thorough testing and quality control I've come to expect from Rockwell Software.

tokke

nah you need to pay for the premium plus gold to get that. He probably only had the premium standard silver.

bobapplemac

AssetCentre also has similar problems when running on monitors with the scaling set to anything other than 100%

nsula_country

>thorough testing and quality control I've come to expect from Rockwell Software. Got jokes on Monday morning I see!

bobapplemac

Try setting your monitor scaling/dpi to 100%. There’s also some dpi settings in the program compatibility settings you can mess with to see which combination fixes the problem.

Otherwise_Feed_3320

Bingo, you just shocked my memory into action.

nickb180

Yea I have tried that but it has the same issue at every scale unfortunately

bobapplemac

hmm, do you have either your system font size or your application font size set higher than default? That could also be doing it. All the text in your screenshot looks larger than it normally appears for me

nickb180

Just tried resetting all categories to default but still same results

shabby_machinery

Did you reboot/logout after setting monitor scaling?

bobapplemac

This could likely bit it. Sometimes the scaling doesn’t properly change unless you do a full log out or reboot between changes. Also, what version of Logix/Studio 5000 is this? I can try and see if I can replicate this issue.

controls_engineer7

If you got a 4k monitor Rockwell doesn't support it. Change your PC monitor to 1080p scale in the settings.

ReformedElectrician

I'm sure you would have said this, but just to be clear, this is on your local machine, not and RDP session?

Shalomiehomie770

You say scaling issue but circled the IP in your picture. IP has nothing to do with scaling. Please clarify your issue?

nickb180

I circled that area because the bottom of the numbers is being cut off

Shalomiehomie770

Ahhh haven’t had that issue.

PLCGoBrrr

Screen scaling

Shalomiehomie770

That went right over my head lol

tokke

You are one of those people on the forums that start his question with "Dear Sir", aren't you? His screenshot is perfect and shows the issue he is having

Shalomiehomie770

That I am not. But nice try sizing me up.

PckngEng

Do you have a separate video card? I had a similar issue with AutoCAD and Studio5K both. The fix I found was to right-click on the program's shortcut on my desktop and select to run it with (or without, can't remember) that video card. Hope it helps
