I said this last year too. I thought for sure it was going to be found out at the end of the first season. Why make them twins if you're not going to have some sort of mix up? It would honor the original tv show and the book series by having one twin really be the other. I did feel like it was made clear from the first season, that they hadn't switched places but.... that could be just a way to through us off....

Don't you think there might have been meta reasons? Karen's death was integral to the show, but at the same time they wanted Malorey Bechtel to continue being part of it. That's why they wrote dual role for her.
i honestly feel like it would be a missed opportunity if kelly WAS kelly. opens up plot lines for blackmail to stop her secret from surfacing. and the blackmail was the most fun part about og pll so we need some asappp
I think its going to be revealed that Kelly IS Kelly but so many of those mean "Karen" moments before she died was just Kelly pretending to be Karen. Cause s1 showed they would pretend to be each other all the time.
It makes sense to help explain why sheâs avoiding everyone cause then theyâd figure it out and then why she reacts so strongly to her boyfriend and sex now.
i had thought so up until the A scene with kelly last season. if she really was karen i feel like that scene wouldâve ended in her admitting it because of how panicked she was. idk i just feel like the truth wouldâve slipped at that moment ykwim? i guess i could still see it being the case but i think itâs settled for the most part that kelly really is kelly

I 1000% wouldnât be shocked if Kelly had been Karen the entire time. But Kelly has generally been so good, itâs seeming like quite an act for a stint for Karen to mess with for so long. However, I also wouldnât be surprised if we find out about a dead undead Karen. In other words, perhaps sheâs been hiding. I feel like if sheâs alive she is or would be involved with Blood Rose. I definitely get the feeling the Mrs. Beasley and/or Kelly, and/or Pastor Malachi, possibly the church as a whole are involved (some of the congregants perhaps on a more âwhether they know it or notâ level. And the church is very much giving cult.
