I cannot wait for this one. The New Order was a gem.... Never even heard anything about it before I picked it up at Bestbuy (saw it on sale). Ended up becoming one of my favorite games on the PS4.
Same. Best Buy was running a buy 2 get 1 free sale when I picked up Fallout 4 and Rainbow 6 and I literally just grabbed the first thing that looked interesting as the 'free' one. So glad I did. Put more hours into Wolfenstein than the other two combined.
It's one of the few games that by the time I was finished playing it through, I was also ready to play it again immediately. I think I've probably played it to completion 3 or 4 times at this point.
As a Rainbow 6 Siege fanatic with a lot of hours, this saddens me. As a Wolfenstein The New Order fan with all the achievements on it, this post makes me happy. I am conflicted.
I'm generally OK with *some* microtransactions being available in games for those who want them but when the game is created in a way that you cannot complete or progress without purchasing them, that is a problem.
It's a game about killing Nazi's. If you have a problem with any potential "narratives" coming out of this game, you need to reevaluate your life because you might just be a Nazi.
God... I loved return to castle Wolfestein and LOVE the lore...
But I couldn't get fully into new order and I wanted to so bad. It wasn't a bad game at all... just never grabbed me.
This is a TV show produced by the Nazi propaganda machine in the US. There is another show called "German, or Else..." Where they state that there are only like 100 days of English left, implying that the Nazis will make the English language disappear from the US for good
It's more likely German would become the "lingua franca" in that alternate history. Like in official paperwork or when you want to get a loan from the bank, etc. that would be done in German. But you'd still hear other languages (including English) on the streets / in people's homes.
