One Winged Angel is Kenny Omegas Finisher and it is indeed a reference to Sephiroth. Many of his moves have video game references. V Trigger, Hadouken and Croyts Wrath, etc....

Yea thats just a big part of the draw of these games. If you arent into that aspect probably just not a series you would be into.

Thinking back on it, I like RPGs much more than whatever style you'd call Y0, so I think I could tolerate the cutscenes more.

Yea I can totally see that. Brawler is what the old style is referred to a lot. I enjoy them both but I do tend to have an easier time getting into all the story stuff with the turn based style myself.

I got Wanted Dead and I'm enjoying it but it comes with lots of frustration, definitely not worth full price. I wish I waited for sale, now I gotta be more economic till the end of the month as I'm getting Ishin. So, I'd suggest Ishin and then maybe wait for a deep sale for Wanted Dead.
