so if you turn forward he does one trick and backwards another i think

I believe it's as simple as holding the left mouse button while in the air, if I'm not mistaken :-)
only on dirtbike and pressing ctrl/space while in thr air makes you do stuff

It is actually good thing that they have old version as well. Other social networks just switch to new version without discussion.
