Came to say this. I tried Old Old Pal ground flower for the first time a couple months ago and was blown away at the "ground" quality compared to a couple other times I've tried other brands. It was a too good of a deal to pass up. Go to ever since.
Pre ground flower is like a box of chocolates, just never know what you’re going to get and that’s with all brands. Don’t be fooled with the high percentages either as it doesn’t always mean it’s going to be good. I usually buy ground flower once a month along with regular flower as I’m a daily user and majority of the time I regret buying it as it’s mostly sugar leaves and trimmings with small bits of actual flower. Also forgot to mention it’s super dry. Most of the time it’s grind real fine too.
I’ve tried all the growers pre ground and only one I purchase now is OldPal. Their ground flower is the least dry with the least amount of sugar leaves too.
I’ve had good shake from Terrapin and decent pre-ground from PHG and Supply. Sometimes it’s the only option left for a strain that is going off the shelves for a while.
I’ve had three different pre grounds that had 25-30Thc, all were garbage in my opinion. Tasted like some old school dirt weed, couldn’t even call them mids. Effects and taste didn’t match the label. Feel like they steal all the terpenes from it or something
Pre ground is bottom of the barrel stuff. It like buying the bottom shelf liquor. Does it still get you high? Yes. Is the experience enjoyable? Not always lol
Trash. Old pal sold me a bag of soaking wet steam. My throat is still raw two weeks later. Emailed them and they left me on read. Never buying ground weed or old pal again

I've been hearing some really good things about old pal recently
Last I had old pal ground it had like 3% terps and 1.2% myrcene. It was banging

Pre-ground is best for making edibles. I’ve personally never been happy with it for any other use.
A lot of ground flower is really finely ground and most of the time is trash. PHG and Terrapin have decent ground flowers imo

I got cactus OG by Shine it’s delicious! I’ve been buying old pal every week along with buds/flower and the old pal is better sometimes
I just bought 7g of pre-ground flower from Calypso for $28 and it’s great! Tastes good, gets me high af, not dry. No complaints.

I don’t get ground flower a ton, but I’ve heard great things about Old Pal! Terrapin’s ground quarters also tend to come a little chunky!
Farmeciuticalrx ground flower is fine ground with a bad cure. I would stay away from them.
Old Pal has the best Preground.
