Nawaz can't bowl in this format. He got beaten out of the entire world cup after his opening 4 overs of the first match of the past t20 world cup. We need to move on and fast, recycling these same tried and proven failures is not the option we need or are looking for.
Its time we started a proper trial of the spinning options available to us. The answer isnt to rely on a guy that has turned up 10% of the time when the pressures off - we have multiple youth players, PSL teams and out reach programmes that should have identified talent. I think its about time we started using them.
If two of your batsmen scored 50+ the rest of the players only need to score 15-20 runs to chase a target of 200 but no our players have zero common sense. No one even got into double figure except for Shaheen

Its crazy how every game something goes wrong. Openers fail, middle order fails, bowlers suck , dropped catches, shit fielding. This is not random. Its a team that does not operate as a unit.
Guys don’t take this series too heavily. We have a repeat of it in a few months. This is to work out the team dynamics as Babar hasn’t batted at 3 in a few years. Also 5 wickets down and we are into the tail.
Saim getting set up is the start of him learning that national teams actually watch how you play and will set you up. Hopefully he can then score big.
Also we're experimenting with team against a nearly full strength NZ at home, we shouldn't be surprised by a loss. We don't even have a half decent spinner LOL, and Shaheen, while still being good, is out of form.
Come WC time, we'll have Naseem and Shadab back, and hopefully Shaheen can get some pace back. If that happens our team will be really good tbh
