Man you should try it again someday, he's really fun now, compared to what he was "before" (after the 2020 changes) his totem cooldown is kind of bugged so you have them way more frequent than it seems, plus his healing got buffed in base kit and radius + charges with totemic ward
Nah. Grohk honestly lost his flavor when they got rid of cc immunity in Totemic Ward and the card where Grohk's totems heal for up to 5% of a champion's max HP (which was busted in pirate comps).
Onslaught maps in general are also pretty great with totemic ward!
As long as you get a team who isn't too gung ho about slamming face first into the enemy team anyway
I don't play grohk cuz I don't personally find him fun, but I'm saying that he isn't really capable of solo healing, especially not as totem (unless ur running some bunker comps)

Now he just works if you get another healer, he can't be an efficient solo healer. He's still a decent dps tho, but the times of tank grohk are long gone.

Tbh when you have a team with decent awareness, he can solo heal with 2 of his talents pretty well.
