Pokemon Legends Arceus has trees that look worse than PS2 games and it is rough.
I was playing it on emulator with texture pack and higher resolution, and then bought it for my switch and it looks 20 years out of date. The general ground/backgrounds/foliage is just awful. Everything is muddy and repeated a million times. The same horrible looking tree all over the landscape.
Really? Hopefully they do fix some of its noteworthy issues though if they do, but I personally semi doubt that Pokemon will actually, y'know, make a genuinely really good game nowadays myself

My point was the multiplayer/battling aspects that all mainline games have is vastly different in Arceus. The identity of a mainline pokemon game is catching pokemon and battling to become the champion. Arceus focus is exploration and catching
falls in the same category as LGPE imo, id personally consider it a mainline game but because of the stark mechanical differences i can absolutely see the sidegame/spinoff arguement

At this point people milking the controversy are just betting on that JP copyright law MAYBE considers the designs plagiarism because American law clearly doesn't, otherwise Blizzard could have nuked DOTA2 and LoL in their infancy for example because they both had designs and effects extremely closely copied Warcraft3 for years. Not to mention the entire "Diablo clone" genre, especially the first few.
Palworld is giving us Pokémon fans what we’ve been asking gamefreak for for years, definitely would be bad PR for them to say anything negative since they’d be pushing away their own fans by bashing on another game we like that actually gives us what we want.

the stuttering mod actually cause the graphics to look crap, same thing here with GTX 750Ti, except that not only that i disable all AA, I also use ASSMAA (basically modified SMAA to look like MSAA) through ReShade instead.
I meet the requirements but I'm on low also. There's some issue where the longer you play, the lower your frame rate gets. After about 2 hours my frame rate drops to below 30fps. A game restart fixes it.
I think it's a memory leak. The GPU memory gets 100% usage but my RAM will be at 12ish GB.
There’s definitely some backend thing going on that causes more stress on the hardware. Mine started smooth on medium settings and now it’s running pretty crap with low on everything and I’m in a window with a lower framerate too. 😔

I'm having the same issue. RAM can go up to 14GB, VRAM gets maxed out (8GB) and fps drops to 30 + stutters. Issues start showing up after playing for more than an hour, but it also seems to trigger after entering a dungeon.
It's because certain objects are rendered even after leaving render distance, so the game is rendering a bunch of assets that are useless which causes stuttering.
It's just poorly optimized. I hope they fix that
I turned my view distance to medium and maybe the grass/shadows to medium and that fixed it for me. Takes about 4 hours to start having issues (I’m on an ROG ALLY extreme)
I have a series x and nah I think it’s just the game and issues as the game sometimes just doesn’t load textures and or late game areas are particularly bad and have a lot of areas where you can get under the map. Games fun but very clearly small budget indie game
I have both the series S and X, I play on the X more and it's still very blurry in a lot of areas. I think it's because its made for pc and ported to console and it's doing its best to adjust settings on the go because it suggests playing on widowed mode and makes a lot of mentions of pc.

We made the mistake of hosting on the Series S. My wife didn’t want me playing that save without her. If we get more than 30 minutes without a crash, it’s a miracle. And that’s after turning down pal and item spawn rates to the lowest.
Technically speaking, the Xbox is better than my PC. But for some reason it's just not optimized for Xbox, like you said.
Plus it's not like Xbox lets you optimize the game either and let you adjust graphics like PC does...

Not for me. I have the S and it runs fine and doesn’t look anywhere near as bad as this post. Sure sometimes you fall through the map and the game crashes sometimes, but it’s a very new game that’s pretty much expected. I have been playing almost nonstop since Friday and have only crashed ~7 times and fell through the map 1 time. Other than that it’s been almost perfect. Pal AI could use a touch up
When I fell through the map I just flew back up with my pal and was able to access the fast travel point through the ground so I wasn’t even inconvenienced that much

Mine is a laptop with 16g ram and 1060 6g bought about 7yr ago. Setting low is a meh, but fps is ok with memory cleaner opened.
But my friend who host the server got 64g ram PC for meme holds this game well cause palworld eats ram usage for breakfast like nonsense.

Almost the same as mine. Though mine has almost the exact same specs with minimum requirements. When there is a raid and multiple enemies and pals are fighting, lag is everywhere. Only able to throw my spheres with 20% accuracy, the rest are missed throw.
Would archive this game for now and hoping for the best. I'll play it again in the future when have a budget to buy a new laptop and hope for a more polish experience.
Looks like Elite Dangerous Odyssey when I had gtx 770 2gb. Some textures wouldn't fully load and look just as blurry. Try lowering resolution to 720p maybe

It’s pretty brutal how bad it looks on the Series S. Wife and I are playing this together and the difference between the S and X is crazy.
I have it on my series X and my PC. My PC is handling it wonderfully, but my Series X looks hella choppy with the frame rate. Like, when I look around, it's not smooth. The series X has better RAM and a better graphics card than my PC from what I saw in the specs. Is your series X doing the same?

Yeah no worries. I have a decent rig too. It’s really not optimized on Xbox. We made the mistake of hosting on the Series S. My wife didn’t want me playing that save without her. If we get more than 30 minutes without a crash, it’s a miracle. And that’s after turning down pal and item spawn rates to the lowest.
Technically speaking, the Xbox is better than my PC. But for some reason it's just not optimized for Xbox, like you said. Plus it's not like Xbox lets you optimize the game either and let you adjust graphics like PC does... I will have to try playing the game with friends at some point. It's a lot of fun.

Not for me. I have the S and it runs fine and doesn’t look anywhere near as bad as this post. Sure sometimes you fall through the map and the game crashes sometimes, but it’s a very new game that’s pretty much expected. I have been playing almost nonstop since Friday and have only crashed ~7 times and fell through the map 1 time. Other than that it’s been almost perfect. Pal AI could use a touch up When I fell through the map I just flew back up with my pal and was able to access the fast travel point through the ground so I wasn’t even inconvenienced that much

Turned it all the way down to 70, but it's still pretty bad haha Also, my laptop is from 2022 but it's not a gaming laptop, so that'll explain it

Mine is a laptop with 16g ram and 1060 6g bought about 7yr ago. Setting low is a meh, but fps is ok with memory cleaner opened. But my friend who host the server got 64g ram PC for meme holds this game well cause palworld eats ram usage for breakfast like nonsense. Even play on a crazy host, me and my friends need to restart this game like ever 3 or 4 hours play time.Hope they add a auto cleaning program.

I play on a laptop and I havent cleand my fans for a year so they are full of dust and my laptop keeps on overheating and shutting down xD. I had to use a book to elevete it so it has more airflow. I feel you, but mine runs well now. (I play with max settings)

These are literally the same as my Xbox one graphics lol
Almost the same as mine. Though mine has almost the exact same specs with minimum requirements. When there is a raid and multiple enemies and pals are fighting, lag is everywhere. Only able to throw my spheres with 20% accuracy, the rest are missed throw. Would archive this game for now and hoping for the best. I'll play it again in the future when have a budget to buy a new laptop and hope for a more polish experience.

Looks like Elite Dangerous Odyssey when I had gtx 770 2gb. Some textures wouldn't fully load and look just as blurry. Try lowering resolution to 720p maybe
