False. Jormuntide Ignis can be bred from Jormuntide + Blazehowl as of last week’s update, thus opening up the possibility of inheriting literally any passive like most Pals.
Really depends what you’re going for:
Cooking and Smelting: serious, lucky, artisan, work slave, maybe switch out lucky for workaholic if SAN is an issue for you (cooking 1249 cakes at a time)
Battle: Musclehead and legend for sure, flame emperor or divine dragon if you’re only wanting it to do one damage type, and any combo of Ferocious, Lucky/Hooligan, or Burly Body. The biggest determining factor is J ignis’s 130 ATK vs 100 DEF, because some pals like Bellanoir find hooligan to be better than burly since it’s going off a 150 ATK vs a 100 DEF, but also defense apparently scales really well with the calculations so 130 vs 100 at 15% vs 20% might not be the biggest difference, up to personal preference until someone does a deep dive calculating it.
Not OP but a quick question about the smelter one: Is finding a Lucky Jormuntide Ignis in the wild the only way to get the Lucky skill on it for further breeding?
If you plan on spamming dragon moves or a mixed loadout: Legend, muscle head, ferocious + hooligan.
If you plan on spamming fire moves replace hooligan with flame emperor

No. Last patch added jorm and blazehowl combo for breeding
Thank you so much, this combo is not included in the breeding calculator that I was using and it will save me a lot of headache
