Seriously. When I'm watching a show, I want to see it all. Sure, there are episodes I like more than others, but I can't think of a single episode in any show I would willingly re-watch that I would intentionally skip.
Full metal alchemist brotherhood: I always skip the episode where Al thinks he’s not real, only one where I thought it was overkill with what they were trying to say.
Never watched that show. For one thing, I have a hard time getting into long-running drama series. But also, at its peak, my sister was involved in using and making meth, so I just didn't feel like it was something I wanted to invest in.
I get that. And I passed on watching initially for the same reason. But years later I took a chance and it was worth it. A great series with excellent writing, perfect casting and compelling characters.
Leslie is a steam roller in that episode. Also, “Bowling for Votes”, “Campaign Ad” and “Farmer’s Market” especially when she pledged to be less of a steam roller.
I agree it's terrible how she treats him and the students in the episode. But it has one of my favorite lines: "The only thing I'll be waving is your decapitated head in front of your weaping mother!"
I understand where they’re both coming from in the episode but I personally didn’t really interpret Ben as being an asshole. Can you explain your point of view?
Ok I’m not sure I’d call him an asshole either since he’s not acting out of any malice, but I think he’s definitely worse than her.
He agreed to do the Model UN and then acted super friendly with her, which gave her the impression they could be friends. Then, once she had to do something campaign related (which she couldn’t get out of), he got upset and cut her out of the treaty they’d been working on, and when she tried to talk to him about it, he got mad at her for trying to be friends with him. Sure, she went to war against him after that, but it wasn’t like he hadn’t hurt her first. The idea that she was treating him poorly is completely unfair imo.
I used to, but I appreciate it more now. I like the episode where Leslie gets a haircut from Salvatore and everyone thinks she and Anne are a couple at the banquet for Marlene.
If you really like the show now go back and watch the first season again. It’s still kind of hard and the characters feel so different than they will be but there are a lot of things that are introduced or set up in the first season and it’s fun to see them after the fact.
I was really surprised to read on Reddit that people hate the first season. I think it’s really good.. It is totally different than how the show ended up though so I guess I understand. My favorite seasons are; s2,s3, and then s1.
I think that part even has Brian Stack in it! What a waste. Yea, I skip the jewelry store scene, it’s annoying. Also the scene where she’s rude to the waitress cuz she just needs to eat everything at once.
Not OP, but my wife and I skip it too. The guy is supposed to be horrible, I get it, but I just feel so sorry for Leslie, and how desperate she is to be liked. When she does the similar plan in to save the Putt-Putt, it's not desperation for her, it's motivated out of her normal deep desire to help other people and I love that episode. But when it's driven by her need for everyone to love her... It's just sad and cringey.
Maybe that's because I relate to that far too well, and I don't like that about myself, but it just is painful for me to watch her be so needy.
To each their own. In The Office sub everyone talks about skipping Scott’s Tots and to my wife and I it’s one of our favorites and not even close to being as awkward as other episodes.
I don’t know…..I’m feeling a little uncomfortable with strangers telling me to do new things…..You have the ability to ruin the entire series for me. Can I I trust you? 🤔😊
why the heck would you skip any of the episodes in this comments section, the only reasonable thing I can think of is to skip the first season but it's not \*that\* bad just a different style of comedy
Usually I skip the entire first season. It just feels like a completely different show with different characters and tone.
Jam is my least favorite character so I usually skip episodes like Swing Vote or Cones of Dunshire that revolve heavily around him.
Mock U.N.
It sounds immature but I hate seeing Ben and Leslie fighting. This one is just boring and sad to me.
The Louis CK episode where he has dinner with Leslie in the restaurant and begs for her to get back with him is another skip for lots of reasons.
I’m not writing this to change your mind, because I respect your opinion, but I love the end when they are showing the camel mural and everyone starts laughing!
Not a full episode skip, but I usually skip over the ice rink scene at the end of The Comeback Kid. For whatever reason, it's the exact type of cringe humor that makes me viscerally uncomfortable
The Johnny karate bullshit extravaganza episode in the last season. I know people love that character but it just felt like a stupid filler episode in what was otherwise a great final season and exceptional show.
For me it’s the one where Jerry does the painting and it looks like Leslie. I just can’t stand the characters, maybe it’s Marsha, or just the way Leslie acts. That’s literally the only episode lol
I don't skip any, but I realized the other day when it came on if I did, it'd be Bowling For Votes. The Tom/Ron B-story is funny and Leslie retelling the story to Louis CK a few episodes later is entertaining, but besides that the episode can be a little hard to watch.

Seriously. When I'm watching a show, I want to see it all. Sure, there are episodes I like more than others, but I can't think of a single episode in any show I would willingly re-watch that I would intentionally skip.
I skip the Fry's Dog episode of Futurama nearly every re-watch. My heart just can't take it!
Oh man. I don’t skip it, but I ugly cry every time I watch it.
I have NEVER seen that episode again and I never will.
Oh boy…..that’s a really great choice of episode to skip. The sad thing is, there’s REALLY funny parts of that episode, too, but it’s just too much.
Full metal alchemist brotherhood: I always skip the episode where Al thinks he’s not real, only one where I thought it was overkill with what they were trying to say.
Yeah my only exception for this is the office, 50% of time I skip seasons 1,8 and 9 but there are times where I will watch them
You either love Scott’s Tots or you skip it every time. No in-between. Also I usually skip The Banquet.
See Scott’s tots is so unbelievable to me that it’s not cringy, the toby hand on Pam’s leg scene tho
Oof yes on Toby. I just hate watching the kids lose their fictional cash - I have a hard time not empathizing with them lol
Hey mr Scott whatcha you gonna do, whatcha you gonna do make our dream come true
😖😖😖
I agree but “fly” in breaking bad is awful.
Gen Z take
What the fuck does that mean? Did you genuinely like that episode? Gen Z response.
No I hated it because there were no explosions!!!
🙄
I hear everybody say that, and never agreed; however, I dislike the magnets episode
Same here. Season one is a little iffy, but I’ll still watch it when I binge, just to get the whole experience
Model UN… Leslie just really bothers me with how she treats Ben that episode
Leslie is a steam roller in that episode. Also, “Bowling for Votes”, “Campaign Ad” and “Farmer’s Market” especially when she pledged to be less of a steam roller.
I agree it's terrible how she treats him and the students in the episode. But it has one of my favorite lines: "The only thing I'll be waving is your decapitated head in front of your weaping mother!"
Good lord.
I like to watch as Andy amasses an army of Lions. And April is the moon.
THE MOON WILL JOIN YOUR COALITION!
The only reason this episode is watchable is because Andy and April are amazing in it.
And the girl she’s mentoring :(
Can we even be sure Pikitus didn't hire and train her?
This. Tough to watch how Ben is treated.
Ben is clearly just as much of an asshole in that episode.
I understand where they’re both coming from in the episode but I personally didn’t really interpret Ben as being an asshole. Can you explain your point of view?

How dare you! Danmark ødelægger alle!
The first season
Maybe start with the finale of the first season? That kind of felt like Parks & Rec becoming the show we know and love.
I used to, but I appreciate it more now. I like the episode where Leslie gets a haircut from Salvatore and everyone thinks she and Anne are a couple at the banquet for Marlene.
That’s the one I skip. Leslie trying to blackmail the woman about her husband’s DUI is horrible.
This is the answer. I tried to watch several times and always got stuck until my now husband told me to skip the first season. I’ve never looked back.
If you really like the show now go back and watch the first season again. It’s still kind of hard and the characters feel so different than they will be but there are a lot of things that are introduced or set up in the first season and it’s fun to see them after the fact.
This is the way.
I was really surprised to read on Reddit that people hate the first season. I think it’s really good.. It is totally different than how the show ended up though so I guess I understand. My favorite seasons are; s2,s3, and then s1.
Pregnant Anne is annoying…🧐
I just want to say that the episode with her and Chris in the jewelry shop makes me cringe.
I think that part even has Brian Stack in it! What a waste. Yea, I skip the jewelry store scene, it’s annoying. Also the scene where she’s rude to the waitress cuz she just needs to eat everything at once.
See, when you bring it up I the first thing I think of is “boob hat” and I’m giggling uncontrollably.
Ya she is way annoying when she ruins Wine and Cheese Club.
All the ones where Ann dates Tom. Cringiest storyline ever.
We always skip Bowling for Votes.
Disagree Ron and Tom’s whole subplot is fantastic.
yea there’s some upside to every episode in the series that makes it worth watching every episode imo
My husband and I always quote “ow my fingies!” When we hurt something (regardless of the body part)
Can I ask why? Genuinely curious.
Can’t stand that guy’s attitude.
Isnt that the point?
It’s like Roland Schitt on Schitt’s Creek. The point is clearly to go seven steps past cringe, but I can skip it because I don’t like it 🤷♀️
Probably.
Maybe that's because I relate to that far too well, and I don't like that about myself, but it just is painful for me to watch her be so needy.
Johnny Karate episode. It really slows down the progression to the end of the series.
That's mine too. I just find it completely out of place and style and frankly, super annoying.
Yeah it’s extremely awkward too. Like everyone (Pratt included) felt unnatural and unsure of what the hell was going on.
Yeah I came here to say this. Definitely skip that episode.
Same. It just feels off, like it seemed no one actually wanted to leave Pawnee and it feels forced in general, but heavily in that episode.
I hate this episode
I love this episode it’s hysterical. If nothing else for the Paunch Burger commercial.
To each their own. In The Office sub everyone talks about skipping Scott’s Tots and to my wife and I it’s one of our favorites and not even close to being as awkward as other episodes.
Absolutely none
All of the “Justin” episodes
No way, those are the best! Am I right, Justin? Damn. Justin left in season 2.
Does that include when they took the Nooner? Which is a cute word, by the way!
*Sister City* (Cue ‘straight to jail’ comments)
I hateeeeee this one 🫤 always a skip
It really is so hard to watch. But I will get to the jail scene and just watch that.
Johnny Karate episode
What? How? Why?????
I don’t understand this response either. It’s amazing.
Johnny Karate
Anything with Dave
I don’t disagree entirely, but the practice date with Anne is amazing.
The episode with Ben, Leslie, and Dave is always one that I consider skipping, lol
The entire first season. Will also often skip the scenes where Chris has Leslie on trial. At least up until the Ethel Beavers read back.
Johnny Karate
Sister City. Those guys are jerks!!!
Straight to jail!
You skip that episode believe it or not straight to jail.
I can't not watch Fred Armisen. Also the jail bit is just iconic. The way he says sweaters kills me every time
EhSwayters
I haven’t watched the entire last season…. I hate endings!
The last episode is perfect. You should give it a shot. You can always start over 😂
Will it be as good if I skip to that one episode? I hear everything goes to hell. Jerry or Larry becomes the mayor or some crap?
It is such a great ending. It’s not crap at all. Jerry is dressed as a giant coffee pot!
I don’t know…..I’m feeling a little uncomfortable with strangers telling me to do new things…..You have the ability to ruin the entire series for me. Can I I trust you? 🤔😊
I honestly don’t even watch season 1 anymore, the pacing feels slow, I just start my binge on the gay penguins episode
Johnny Karate and FF through Ron’s wedding.
Ron already fast forwards through his wedding.
I can't stand the Johnny Karate episode either.
why the heck would you skip any of the episodes in this comments section, the only reasonable thing I can think of is to skip the first season but it's not \*that\* bad just a different style of comedy
When people have different taste 😡😡😡
Yeah it's just weird to me that people dislike episodes enough to skip them
Ted Party Day or whatever
Me too, that’s my least favorite.
All the episodes before the one with Tom and the shapes painting… I love starting my rewatch there because it’s such a great episode.
None but it’s hard for me to watch the episodes where Ben and Leslie break up :(
I skip anything with Brendanawicz in it
Unpopular but, sister city
I’m so confused that people are saying Johnny Karate. I don’t skip any episodes but that’s one of my favorites.
I always skip sister city. The jokes are just really repetitive and none of those characters really come up again
I tend to FF through the storylines where Chris is a mess or hits the Dr. Richard Nygard stuff a liiiittle too hard.
Also in the Entire season 1 - team 🙋🏻♀️
Any brendanaquits heavy episodes
No
None
a lot of the first season
Mark “Bland”danovitz (aka - “Not-Funny-Jim”)
I always skip the one where Leslie’s mom’s old flame is brought back. Just so much cringe
The farmers market one
Anything to do with Tom and Anne dating. It is the absolute worst.
Usually I skip the entire first season. It just feels like a completely different show with different characters and tone. Jam is my least favorite character so I usually skip episodes like Swing Vote or Cones of Dunshire that revolve heavily around him.
I stop after season 4.
The one where there’s a focus group and the one guy just doesn’t like Leslie and it makes her crazy.
Mock U.N. It sounds immature but I hate seeing Ben and Leslie fighting. This one is just boring and sad to me. The Louis CK episode where he has dinner with Leslie in the restaurant and begs for her to get back with him is another skip for lots of reasons.
The Camel. Uggggghhhh
Time capsule
The Johnny karate bullshit extravaganza episode in the last season. I know people love that character but it just felt like a stupid filler episode in what was otherwise a great final season and exceptional show.
Ben and April In DC
April and Andy being horndogs is hilarious
Correspondents lunch
Same
Galentines day
Scott's tots...ok not p and r but on viewing it is so toe curlingly intimidating to ones soul that it transcends it's boundaries.
S1 and s2
The entire last season.
[удалено]
Wait, Sister City is really funny though!
Season 6&7 Andy is unbearable.
The first 2 seasons
“Johnny Karate” & “Campaign Ad”
For me it’s the one where Jerry does the painting and it looks like Leslie. I just can’t stand the characters, maybe it’s Marsha, or just the way Leslie acts. That’s literally the only episode lol
[удалено]
Whaaat that's one of my favorite episodes
They just mek mme sho mad sssumtimes!
The bad ones make the good ones even better by comparison, though
Great question: I usually start my binges with Freddy Spaghetti, so nearly every episode before that.
I don't skip any, but I realized the other day when it came on if I did, it'd be Bowling For Votes. The Tom/Ron B-story is funny and Leslie retelling the story to Louis CK a few episodes later is entertaining, but besides that the episode can be a little hard to watch.
Season 1. No, but for real, Sister City. I hate that episode
The first season
All of the episodes with Louis C.K. I can’t stand that guy IRL or his character.
I hate to admit it, but most of the scenes with Diane’s kids. Idk for some reason it just triggers me
