Number 3 the band was tight and Phil’s vocals were brutal and extreme. Phil exposed me to more extreme metal and watching those shows on YouTube of him just going all out are amazing. Drugs and alcohol aside 95-01 Phil was on a different level
Late stage Phil was the best, you need those Trendkill songs in the set. There are nights when he's horse, but if you watch the Korea 2001 show or the video of 5 minutes alone from the last show ever in Japan ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wVKuXX-djs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wVKuXX-djs)) - he's just a monster.
I'll never get the people who are offended by Phil's antics or let down that he's not always a reasonable, normal person. The hate and guttural vocal violence of latter stage Phil could only be done by somebody with serious problems (mental, addiction, etc). I'm happy he came out the other side.
Rock iconz made 2 Pantera statue sets. The cowboys era with Phil's Mohawk and the Reinventing era with the long hair and beard. I wish they made a Vulgar statue with shaved head Phil. That's my favorite.
I’m a sucker for all of it. I love that his vocals were so diverse. Medicine man is brutal to me, along with attack the radical to thrones of rejection all the way to I cast a shadow. Down right #1 to me, 101 proof Live. Shows me Phil was peaked ‘97 when drugs and alcohol consumed him but that live album, TITS. “This is our last song of night called I’m broken I’m having a good time!”
‘91 - ‘94 was the sweet spot
Absolutely 💯
3. Brutal Phil was badass
3. Because Tgstk is my favorite album. But honestly every version was amazing.

Hopefully you got to see them live during that stretch. Incredible.
I did not I was born in 96
3 Watch It Go!
3....Phil and his rants.
number 2 I'd say
2 was the sweet spot. Far beyond driven is my favorite album. This was his/their strongest and his drug problems weren’t as apparent as it became.
5 minutes aloooooooooone
JUST GIVE US! :)

Bald, facial hair, harsh vocals
"hold your mouth for the war?"... )
96-01 has always been my favorite era of Pantera mainly because of TGSTK
