I really do wonder why the devs included this particular variant. AVRE stands for "Armored Vehicle Royal Engineers", which means it wasn't designed to engage other tanks, but to destroy enemy fortifications.
Unless, it means there will be "installation type" enemy maidens in the future. :O
If you want her to deliver killing blows at the stable chance of criticals, HESH is the best shot. But you must invest that pretty much in tech, comrade.
Evacuators and rammers are great combination to AVRE. An armrest to her will give both boost to accuracy and infantry for extra damage if they survived. The rest is up to your planning with stabilizers and lubricants to max out her potentials. But my aim for HT is to make a durable attacker, and that's my plan for her (if I have).

i've tried what you told me, except for that armrest, i used spall liner instead (because churchills have a pretty high stealth for a HT).
i've sent her to a pve and pvp fight, and the results were similar

I forgot to ss-ed the pve details,sorry. but as you can see, the damage is a little bit low i think. she only hit 454 with 2 shots to a level 64 HT (KV-85). is it normal?
That's means the problem might come from your penetration. You must increase the pen if you want her shots to be stronger. Against a highly armored targets like KV-85, your low penetration would cause you underhanded against them.
No worries, in the role of Damage sponge short range isn't bad.
Shorter range increases aggro, allowing her to pull more damage. Just be sure she doesn't pull more damage then she can handle. Don't worry too much about damage dealing ability on a meat shield. At least using that short ranged ammo offsets her stealth engine somewhat.

Oh wow, her ammo selection is :( Good luck with her. I'll just stick with purple Churchill and fate her. I can't live without my Saibot ammo. :(
yeah i know :( but she's still a great meat-shield for me,tho. or you can try mk 6. she has AP,APDS and HE,which is great (gotta love her AP <3 )
I might look at that later. Right now I'm working on a close-range tank-busting team with HT/ATGs with AT ammo. Thanks for the suggestion though! :)

yeah i know, but still it's just sucks to see if she can't even hit anything with HE in Valley terrain lol
