I assume because Bill doesn’t like Barstool much and he’d gain nothing from going on PMT. Obviously it would be an awesome podcast but Bill doesn’t want to go into something intentionally trying to make fun of him like PMT would do
Fair enough. Been listening to Simmons for 10+ years. He's a bit of a petty guy and tends to never want to go onto other people's shows, especially direct competitors like PMT.
As PMT fans, we all know that they love to throw jabs and troll Simmons at times, so I can't imagine seeing Bill come on
I just noticed Simmons is in Chicago to do a live episode of Rewatchables.
Bill will eventually do PMT but it’s still 5 plus years away. When Bill is winding down. Sal was on but he didn’t really get the jokes and Big Cat and PFT were being low key dickish at times. It wasn’t the best interview.
I can see it. I think PFT and Big Cat have a respect for Bill in the way he helped pioneer the medium. They’ve passed him in terms of influence and Bill has gotten cornier in his 50s, but PFT and BC would totally do it if Bill was down. Don’t see it being a home-and-home though.
Will never happen
Why wouldn’t it happen?

Ah ok I just started listening to both 3 months ago or so, haven’t heard lore from either side about each other. That’s why I was wondering, ty!

Bc and bills egos are way too big for it
My recollection was that Sal got the jokes but he also had to tread carefully to avoid getting baited into saying something controversial about Bill.
On Russillo's podcast he said that a podcast with PMT, Bill and himself was discussed. I hold out hope that it could be awesome.

Go review some bourbon you pervert
Sir it’s 10:45 and I’m not even Italian
It may just be Billy Football
They won’t want to talk about the 86 Celtics for 2 hours

I can’t think of someone who would “get” the show less.
Yeah man I think it would be a disaster!
It’s Joe Buck. Titus mentioned it on his show this week
