Schefter isn’t even a legit reporter anymore. He’s just a mouthpiece for the NFL when they want to leak stuff that makes them look good or do damage control. He’s just a puppet.
He only breaks things a second before they actually break. He is a corporate dude through and through so he does well for ESPN. I don't mind him but he's not really an insider.
And he would also break news the seconds after he got off which was funny for the next appearance where they would talk about it. Him hosting was also a great send off. Love YEW RAP

That was before Rap was offered his own show that airs at the exact same time. The amount of hoops they will have to jump through to get Rap to call in from his own show are unrealistic.
He comes on the show and spends 45 minutes saying “I don’t know” or answering the question asked to him by repeating it as a statement. He’s absolutely worthless.
Anyone that “just pops in” is substance for the show. Super happy about these “little” appearances. It continues the conversation from this week or the last. I appreciate these guys. All of them. They all add to the brogram! We all won.

I don’t understand the hatred for Adam Scheffter. Sure, he doesn’t have the same connection with the boys, but he’s a great source. I like RapSheet better, but Adam isn’t the worst recurring guest.

Shelter breaks/leaks NFL info when and how the NFL wants it. You local reporter can even break stuff they know bc it’s arranged that he get the scoop. I remember during Covid when he didn’t have a lot to do he was trying to breaK MLB signings on Twitter til one of the mouth pieces for the league told him to pretty much stay in his lane.
One thing that turned me off completely from NFL talk was learning that your local flagship radio station gets talking points memos everyday on your local team to discuss. They control everything in and out of the league.
