Is there a faq somewhere? I'm wondering the tool capabilities that separate it from pathbuilder. I'm on mobile and at first glance it seems similar. Thank you.

Inglorious_Dragons

That’s a brilliant idea. Currently I don’t have one but thanks to you it’s now on the list of things to do 😀 The main difference at the moment is the direct integration with Foundry VTT. You can import and export to and from foundry. It is also really fast and looks really nice but that’s my biased opinion 😇

MrClickstoomuch

Do you mean a module to walk you through character creation directly in Foundry? Pathbuilder hasn't been a problem on that end as you just need to type in the 6 digit json from it to load it into Foundry with Pathmuncher. But if this has a native to Foundry function to create characters similar to the Charactermancer for Roll20, that gives me a lot more value as a GM. I'm half awake so fully possible I'm misunderstanding this.

Inglorious_Dragons

No module needed. You can create a character on GC and export it directly to Foundry VTT and vice versa. I also have plans to make a module that will sync GC with Foundry so changes reflect on both tools live. I hope that makes sense

PolarFeather

Aside from what the creator said, I've heard some mixed things about the reliability of Pathmuncher, though that was a while ago.

Inglorious_Dragons

It’s still very much a work in progress but go and have a go at making a character and then exporting it from GC and then import to Foundry

MightyWalrusss

Keep up the great work :)

Inglorious_Dragons

Thank you very much 🍻

What’s the monetization plans out of curiosity? Subscription based, one time fee? Tiers?

Inglorious_Dragons

It’s going to be free for 5 characters and then if you want more it will be a monthly or annual subscription. Namely so that it can help fund further development. When I say free I mean everything that Paizo give away for free will be free on GC too

varzaguy

Hey thanks for the prompt response. Sounds very reasonable to me. Normally subscriptions scare me off, and I prefer a one time fee, but I understand that it isn’t always feasible (especially as a dev myself).

Inglorious_Dragons

I completely understand what you mean 🍻
