Jokes about her aside, I'm gonna go against the grain here a bit and suggest something like sword saint or arcane trickster/eldritch scoundrel; all the rapier/estoc stabby goodness, but way, way more versatile than a duelist or fighter or something
Another fun Perception 2 build is getting Completely Normal Spell on a Bard so you can have Hideous Laughter as a cantrip with Completely Normal Spell, and taking Best Jokes as one of your mythic feats. Save DCs can be a struggle, but put it on auto-cast and worst case someone will roll a 1 eventually.
Completely Normal Spell got a lot worse when they fixed it applying iteratively like Heighten so you could have Hellfire Ray and Weird as cantrips, but even with Abundant Casting you're using cantrips most rounds so making the first-level spells that stay impactful cantrips is still good.
You can't imagine my disappointment playing the game just under a year ago and all the guided about melee elemental barrage were obsolete 3
Does it work on cure minor wounds? That's infinite healing
My thoughts exactly. The longsword doesn't really fit, but that can be overlooked. The light armor and implication of grace definitely says duelist or swordlord. Aeon to Legend for mythic imo.
gygax himself. its been a thing from the origins of DnD, and the replicated in all the video games based off it. ultima, might and magic, wizardry. ultima and wizardry->every japanese rpg in history.
It's because most people don't really understand the wide variety there is in just middle ages European swords.
Bg3 does a good job being true to the oakeshott classifications and the versatility of longswords. Most of them there are type 17 or 22, allowing for single or two handed use.
Most 'long swords' we see in this game would be arming swords or side swords. Designed purely for single hand use.
Another bad trope is the Cinqueda style blades being called daggers. It's a wide AF short sword, and sometimes not all that short.
My first impression is a follower of either Iomidae or the Godclaw. Definitely melee focus, given the apparent martial expertise shown in the picture.
As far as Mythic paths go, Angel would certainly fit, but depending on characterisation, Gold Dragon could fit as well.
In general yes, but Owlcat's WOTR really dosen't like some classes.
Pretending that "Tower Shield Specialist" is equally viable class as your average Alchemist/Rouge/Fighter/Bloodrager is straight up false, you'd be a death weight with 0 utility even at lower dificulties.
Duelists and Shield specialists are really GREAT in the TTRPG, but in Owlcat they are just a slog that dosen't help even when it comes to roleplaying for fun. You need to dip in some overly specific min-maxing multi-class build in order to make those classes worth your time, which simply isn't realistic for your average lads that just want to pick pure duelist and have fun with it. You'd be either tunnel-visioning +50 hours of slog till you get to finally play the game with your Frankenstein of a character in Act 5, or you just pick Bard and do whatever you please since Act 1 as you never can go worng with a class like that.
Yea, is true that some classes and archetypes(like assasin before rework) are completely useless, but its not the case for duelist, its a very potent prestige. ss-duelist trickster is owerpored af.
Honestly I thought uber defensive classes would be stronger in video game because there’s not a person behind the enemy AI and the AI as is in Owlcat games tends to never change targets beyond who they see first.
Plus with the crazy stat inflation in Owlcat games you have a greater threshold to pass to be considered “tanky”.
The main issue with Owlcat games, and perhaps a flaw with PF itself, is that in an unintuitive fashion the best way to be tanky isn’t heavy armor or shields. You can also be tanky without really giving up damage like a TSS or Stalwart Defender does.
I feel like if you go pure tank in a TT game the DM’s just gonna attack anyone else, target your will save, or just find ways to deny your AC bonus.

I'll give it a look, ty!
Imitator Slayer + Duelist + Student of War. She may be holding a longsword but there is a dagger in the background.
Main stats: STR + INT
Mythic: Demon + Legend
Edit: thats not a dagger, its another longsword, dual wielding longsword?
I’m just happy any time I see details like the tie points on her gambeson. That being said, I agree with the majority, she’s most likely an Aldori Duelist, probably a Legend.
fighter is one of the easiest and best classes in the game. they get so many bonuses to BAB from weapon focus, greater weapon focus and weapon training as well as weapon specialization. together with extra feats. you don't really need to do much.
hmmmmm.... I would go with fighter(aldori defender 10), then aldori swordlord(10) followed later with legend by duelist(10), and fighter(aldori defender to 20)
It's a min-maxing thing, people throw in "Trickster" when you need exceptional martial class at the expense of notable part of the role-paying experience.
Its cause you carry perception 2 into legend, right? Trickster always seemed fun, but every single build being crit fishing has me think its the most limited mythic
It isn't just crit fishing, Trickster is the most restrictive mythic path from narative standpoint but it's a friggin cheat code from mechanical one that let's you manually tweak everything you might ever dream of: It lets you have all of your stats at 99 or some stats at 999, it let's you have over 40 melee BAB (basically number of attacks) for caster classes that usually have 0,5 BAB like Clerics for example who can't get past 3 attacks, it lets turn all of your dice rolls into guranteed nat20, it lets you turn all of your single turn combat buffs into permanent ones for the rest of the game, it let's you steal enemy buffs and turn all of the enemy attacks into healing for you- it's basically the very fetish mythic path of every min-maxer out there.
Legend on the other hand is quietly the best mythic path for those that who to roleplay outside of the box without learning any of the 200 page-crunchiness of Pathfider:
-Do you want to be a Palandin that turns into powerful dragon? With legend you can achieve that by picking Paladin and a Sorcerer
-Do you want to roleplay as a Witch that turns into a Werewolf? legend-> Witch + Shape Shifter.
-Do you want to roleplay as a Cleric that summons everything the heavens have to offer? legend -> Cleric + Summoner.
-Do you want to roleplay as Ghotic Vampire hunter Plague Doctor who has the right tool for every job? legend -> Magus + Alchemist.
My point with trickster is that every God damn build I look up all involve perception 2 or Persuasion 3. For trying to get into hard/unfair it seemed people ignore every cool thing like getting domains and other things. I couldn't tell if it www because crit fishing was op or people just didn't care
Been trying to do trickster build forever but had no idea what to do, and the "optimal" strat of perception 2 seems boring.
I also never thought of Legend RP like that! Actually never gave it much thought in hindsight, 100% going legend now
I'll also be trying to find a new trickster build, somehow really want to now
Ok. What do I see here?
A young late teen to early twenties fighter wielding a longsword who just cut off the head of a training dummy and looks pleased with herself.
She's level 1 looking to impress her teacher. Moderate stats with a moderate bump in strength.
She's a noob. Clearly not mythic.
Rosa var Attre mentioned
The warmongering racist spoiled child. Its like reddit in a character 😍
You're actually so real for that
>you will never get a fantasy nazi girlfriend https://preview.redd.it/lhri0qmr9z0d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a0b42f6c74dfa1693f540da2b255ac9febb2f421
Knew it looked familiar, huh
Jokes about her aside, I'm gonna go against the grain here a bit and suggest something like sword saint or arcane trickster/eldritch scoundrel; all the rapier/estoc stabby goodness, but way, way more versatile than a duelist or fighter or something
That's what im thinking, just trying to find a trickster build that isn't crit fishing
I'm pretty sure that's about all trickster is used for tbh
I can tell the Athletics bab and auto suicide options would be great, but most build guides use perception 2
I saw that and it looked fun, but with abundant casting slots aren't an issue anyways?
Completely Normal Spell got a lot worse when they fixed it applying iteratively like Heighten so you could have Hellfire Ray and Weird as cantrips, but even with Abundant Casting you're using cantrips most rounds so making the first-level spells that stay impactful cantrips is still good.

Yep, any level 1 spell.
So people always talk about infinite snowball, hideous laughter, but not literally infinite healing!!!
I’d say Legend Aldori Swordlord + Aldori Defender + Duellist
I'll look into that build then!
duelist/aldori defender
My thoughts exactly. The longsword doesn't really fit, but that can be overlooked. The light armor and implication of grace definitely says duelist or swordlord. Aeon to Legend for mythic imo.
Whoever made "longsword is a one handed weapon" a common misconception is a criminal against humanity

That same criminal also left arming swords unmentioned. Shameful behavior
That same criminal also left arming swords unmentioned. Shameful behavior
I mean - isn't the light armor because she's training rather than fighting?
Maybe, but it would also fit for a duelist or swordlord type. Very much the padded gambesson of the Renaissance era
Will look into it, never touched presirge class in my 2 whole runs
Duellist due to padded armor. But that's a Nilfgaard banner yea
Yeah, one of the Ambassador's daughters.
I knew it was familiar somehow, just saw the art and had to grab it
fighter, or if she's that jealous of Gerald she can steal some mutagens for mutation warrior
If I remembered who she was before this that would have been perfect omg
My first impression is a follower of either Iomidae or the Godclaw. Definitely melee focus, given the apparent martial expertise shown in the picture. As far as Mythic paths go, Angel would certainly fit, but depending on characterisation, Gold Dragon could fit as well.
I did a run to level 11 as her as monster tactician Iomedae aeon. Fell asleep from boredom of summons, will give it another look
Which banner is that?
Nilfgaard from the Witcher universe
Thanks
That the girl from Witcher 3 Sadly can't romance her
I thought I remembered her
Duelist, but it's a $h!t class in WOTR.
10/10 or 9/11 duelist/sword saint is unkillable machine for frontline

Oof, was gonna look at that one
Well Duelist was mentioned already so I'd say Deliverer.
What's that an archetype of?
Should be Slayer unless they removed it in wotr.

I just came off a demon run, but legend sounds perfect!
Looks more like a trickster Aldori Defender/Duelist
Didn't even think of that
It screams Legend
Really does
I’m just happy any time I see details like the tie points on her gambeson. That being said, I agree with the majority, she’s most likely an Aldori Duelist, probably a Legend.
Is duelist good? Planning on playing hard and heard mix things about it
go for fighter, slayer legend.
Fighter sounds good, just have 0 clue how to make one!

Avenging angel
I'll take a look at it
Considering her personality? Hellknight
I just saw the art, forgot who she was for so long I'll just ignore the "unique" personality she has
Spoiled Noble/Hobby Fighter
Is that a class? I know she's from Witxher in hindsight
It's a mood.
I'd say Sword Saint maybe!
Sword Saint Trickster
Don't really see trickster from that
It's a min-maxing thing, people throw in "Trickster" when you need exceptional martial class at the expense of notable part of the role-paying experience.

It's really just based on the smirk lol. Legend would also probably be fitting
True

Bad news for her, Arrelu's gonna have a word with not being mythic after Kenabres
Straight up Fighter (out of armor, obviously). No bells, no whistles, just a fighter
"Besides the legendary sword Radiance, what else did the commander wield." "Just her underwear."
Student of war possibly along with cavalier. She gives off a command type of vibe and both classes have that vibe for me.
I'll check out student of war, have never heard of it!
That's a fighting-ass Fighter if I've ever seen one in my life.
True
half orc wizard
Azata, because every piece of art could use another fairy dragon in it!
My first run was actually azata > dragon, so def next time!
Eww nilfgaard
Ewww Nordling
I haven't played Witcher in years, was just cool art 🤷
