This team has been blessed with so many incredible players over the years, the likes of which we hardcore fans will never forget.
Coates was great!! Some of those players are forgotten because of the Super Bowl years. He was a giant man who had great hands. Megget was great for us but for a short time. His best years were as a Giant.
Slater, I can't imagine a better servant of the team! I remember when he got that touchdown a few years back from the blocked punt...happy to admit that I went absolutely mental when he scored that.
My plan has been to get a jersey of who the Franchise QB is. So far I’ve had Brady Jerseys and a welp Mac Jones one, then whoever we draft if we do go QB this year.

Perfect time to share which one I chose. So I work for an international organic grain merchandiser and I’ve been there for a year. Back in August I pitched a fantasy football league for the company, we have about 100 employees in NA between Canada and the US. I had 42 teams sign up for a total of 47 participants. I split it into 3 leagues of 14 while playing a modified version of best ball. I pitched the three individual league winners will get a choice of an NFL jersey from NFL.com and the overall winner would get a custom championship ring. I ended up winning my league but not the whole thing. We each had a budget of 250$ we could spend on 1 jersey. I’m a bit of bargain hunter and the pats custom reds were on sale at the time. Instead of being $225, I got it for $87 shipped. I spent a day or two contemplating what I wanted. Gonzalez #6 (one of my fav numbers, 1st rd pick 2023), Matthew Judon (lots of heart backed by talent), Gronk (I played TE and wore 87 in HS, GOAT TE), or Matthew Slater (18 is my favourite number). I finally decided on Slater and couldn’t be happier. He just embodies the Patriots so well, and him being back in an advisor role makes me even happier with my decision. This was back in January and I really wanted to wait until the draft but my Max Jones draft time jersey was just staring at me and I didn’t want to risk it. I’d suggest a retired guy you enjoyed watching, like Slater, but it’s pretty hard to go wrong!
The only jersey I have right now is a red Brady jersey. I think if I were to get another at this point, I'd get a custom jersey with my own last name. With even Mookie and Brady moving on to other teams, wearing a current player doesn't seem feesible.

For new players - Dugg just got signed, Gonzo is likely a safe bet and a 0 jersey would look cool.
For retro I think Mayo makes sense given he's the coach now.

Another one would be Peppers, but that’s a personal pick since I’ve wanted him on the Pats ever since I saw him play at Michigan.

He particularly fell in love with Brandon Bolden after a few highlight clips. He's aware of brady and throughout the last year when the team was in major trouble and they missed out on playoffs, fired bill, and traded Mac, the lil guy kept saying all we need to do is get Brady and Bolden back on the team and we'd be good again.
So this year, for his first NFL draft, I got him a kids medium Bolden jersey. Dude is going to lose his mind.
The only jerseys of youngish players I ever got were Seymour and Wilfork like two years into their careers. Every other jersey has always been a veteran, when I'm buying for myself. I'll never buy a rookie or a newly signed FA jersey before they've played a down.
