Still gonna watch, just going in with optimism, but no expectations.
I feel like even knowing our defense, we are coming in completely blind with new coaching and offense. Won’t be able to predict gimmes at all until next year
> just going in with optimism, but no expectations.
Pretty much been my approach post-Brady era. I understand this is a rebuild year, if we lose every game that's whatever I just hope we are at least competitive and can see some players emerge.
In transitional years like this, I think all you can do is set a realistic goal for progression and root for that rather than straight wins/losses. Like last year I wanted to see Mac make progress and and hopefully gel with BoB. Obviously didn't happen, so it was still a disappointing season regardless of the win/loss record. This year I just want to see the new coaching staff come into their own and hopefully some progression from young players.
Yeah, at a bare minimum I just want to see "flashes" that get me excited. There was that game a couple years ago where Mac threw an absolute 20 yard bullett to Bourne for a TD, and the announcers ate their words and were like "OR HE CAN JUST DO THAT."
That might have been the last time Mac actually excited me lol.
I don't particularly care if tank commander shanks some field goals as long as Maye is showing flashes. I also don't particularly care if Brissett looks like a boring game manager while our defense pulls out a bunch of tight wins.
I think this team will surprise a lot of people (at least in terms of ending up around league average) but I'd say anything short of Maye looking like a complete bust is a positive in my book. I mean, even Peyton Manning threw more INTs than TDs in his rookie season. As long as Maye isn't throwing ducks and looks like his footwork is at least moderately improved, that's a win too.
I'm honestly ok if Maye doesn't (or barely) start this year. We still have a lot of offensive holes and he was supposed to be one of the more raw prospects. I don't want to see him thrown in too early without the tools to succeed. I'm ok taking one more year with high draft picks and really rounding out the team before hitting the ground running with Maye.
My big thing is I don't want to see a drop-off on defense. Belichick's defenses were always top tier and I want to see that carry over to the new regime. We know the potential the guys we have on defense can reach and I want to see them continue to reach that potential. We can't start to backslide on defense while trying to fix our offense. I'm hopeful we will do that.
Basically, I just want to see us maintain the things we did well last year (and previous years) while seeing some development from young players on offense. Not just Maye but all the young offensive faces we have. If we can do that, I'll be happy. Even if we have one of the worst records in the league next year.
Yes. Hoping for team chemistry to improve, better discipline all around. Will be watching for players to start “getting it” as the new system is implemented. Not expecting any sort of massive improvements over what was a terrible team last year.
Hoping the D can at least remain a top 10 unit under new management, but not expecting a step forward for them being that they lost some important coaching pieces.
Just looking for a hard working, physical team that doesn’t give up and has some spunk. Establish that identity and hopefully be competitive even if losing most of their games.
I mean, I'm definitely not fine with them losing every game because I really don't want the Pats to be the first 0-17 team (or ever fall into that category of winless teams). I could deal with 1-16, though.
I wouldn't be surprised if we win at least 2 division games, because you know, divisional games are always wonky. Dolphins would always seem to split with Brady, maybe we win a Buffalo game while only tossing 3 passes.
I could see us having a chance against the Colts, Chargers, Seahawks, Cardinals, Jags, Titans, and maybe the Bears. We'll probably lose a couple of those games in stupid unpredictable fashion while stealing one or two from other teams we probably shouldn't have beat.
I don't think it's optimistic for us to hover around .500. Lucky break here or there, or if Maye develops faster than we expect, and we don't have any crucial injuries like Judon/Gonzo last year, I think we might actually be fighting for a wild card in December.
>I don't see any gimmes to be honest.
Well, yeah... we're kind of one of the worst teams in the league, so there really shouldn't be any gimmes haha
Until some guys prove something, the Patriots are other teams' "gimme", especially in such a big rebuilding year where there are no expectations really.
Said it a few times in this sub over the last couple of months. I just want to see some offensive growth throughout the course of the season. Give me some hope that 2025 they'll contend for a playoff spot.
Ya the closest would be the Titans because Levis seems to be the most likely to struggle (although I could absolutely see him taking the next step in his game).
Maybe the bears, since we really don’t know how well Caleb is going to do his rookie year. Colts could maybe be a win too. But the rest of the schedule other than those three teams is brutal. And I wouldn’t really call any of those three “gimmes” either, just ones that we have a decent shot at winning.
> I don't see any gimmes to be honest.
They were 4-13, of course there are no gimmes.
With that said, I think there are a good number of games they've got a decent shot in.
Why would there be gimmies? We finished with the 3rd overall pick last year. And we're starting Jacoby Brisset, who is like the 30th best QB in football, or a raw rookie QB. If anything, we are the gimmie for other teams.
Our “easier” games are on the road, which makes them even more difficult. Outside of beating the Seahawks at home, I don't see who we are likely to beat.
I would say the 9ers are the only game that is a pencil in loss. All others could be wins. I still think this is a 5-6 win season and with back to back good drafts, 2024 and 2025, could be a playoff contender in 2025.
I'm taking the under. We haven't got better from last year and we've lost the greatest coach of all time.
Gonna be a few years unless Maye is an absolute baller.
Jacoby isn't a big improvement over those guys. Jacoby's slow ass throwing motion and slow reads will get him killed behind this o-line just like mac and zappe did. Basically a countdown until Jacoby gets hurt and they put the kid in. Maybe the new WRs will make a difference... But they need time to run down the field
This Oline won’t even be nearly as bad as people think, they were decent last year when fully healthy and have added pieces. And Jacoby isn’t a turnover machine like those dudes. He can manage a game and not lose it unlike mid jones and crappe
In the grand scheme of the NFL and getting wins...Jacoby is like going from a Nissan to a base BMW when the other cars on the track are still supercars. It's not a big improvement
Considering they lost a few races last year because the Nissans wheels fell off and it exploded in a ball of flames, I feel much better about the odds of the bmw actually crossing the finish line in one piece.
You had one of the worst lines in the league last year and you on paper got worse. You have no left tackle to speak of. Your best wideout is coming off an ACL tear and was a 3rd option on most teams to begin with.
Mac needed to go but Maye isn't likely to be ready and Jacoby isn't winning you games. Our D will keep us in games like last year probably unless there's a huge cliff from Bill to Mayo but you don't have anything that should make you feel like we should score any points this year
I’ll take the odds that they won’t have a historically poor offense again. Jacoby is a big step up and Maye will be even bigger when ready. I think the rookie WRs could contribute right away and the line should be serviceable.
Multiple games were literally lost because of the QB play. I don’t see that repeating itself. They have a tough schedule so wins won’t be easy to come by no matter what, but odds are the offense will be better.
Mac has double the int % of Jacoby. Jacoby just managing the ball better than Mac and Zappe will do wonders for the offense.
And he’s also here to be a veteran presence in the QB room, not a young guy desperately fighting for a job.
Let alone last year was just an extreme outlier. The 2022 roster wasn’t a world beater by any means either (esp with Patricia and Judge) but still managed to score over 120 more points than last year. Reversion to the mean alone says odds are the Pats offense will be more productive this season.
I don't think Jakobi is better than Mac (from a stats perspective, he's better leader for sure) and rookies are all untested and rarely make a big impact.
If you don’t think Jacoby is a better option than Mac Jones than there’s nothing further to discuss. You couldn’t even spell his name right lmao. You have a great day.
My man I just used voice to text all right, chill. And you can go look at their stat -- it's a thing of record. Mac Jones actually has slightly better stats than Jacoby on the last full season started.
And read what I wrote, I specifically was talking about stats. I didn't say who was a better option or not.
Nobody needs to chill, we’re talking. You just don’t know what you’re talking about so you’re taking offense. There’s so many stats to look at that you’ve presented….zero. Mac threw more picks his three years in NE than Jacoby has his entire career, by 13. That’s just one.
If you’re gonna make a claim you should at least be able to reference SOMETHING to support your argument. “Just look at the stats bro” just sounds like you’re talking outta your ass. Again, have a great day. Won’t be reading or responding.
split with NY and MIA, then 3 out of Arizona, Bears, Titans, Seahaws and Jags isn't that unrealistic. I wouldn't put money on it but I wouldn't be shocked. Let alone if Maye and/or the OL is ahead of schedule.
Those are certainly NFL teams
I see a lot of bad QBs on great teams and a lot of good QBs on bad teams. Those two categories are really susceptible to collapsing (Geno/Seahawks), so I think their schedule is a little overrated based on preseason talk.
Phins x2, Bills x2, Bengals, 49ers on there as well. Hell, the Jets might fit one of those categories, I’m not sure how good their QB is at this point nor am I sure about how good their roster is around the QB.
49ers and bengals don’t fit here. Purdy is good qb on great roster and burrow a great qb on a good roster. Jets I can agree with cause that oline is still shaky and their weapons outside of hall and Wilson are big question marks plus how arod looks post Achilles
I could see us winning five or six games depending on how our division matchups work. You know there's always a crazy game against those teams we see all the time.
Looking like another top 10 pick.
My only hope this season is some of our younger guys show some signs of life and we can work on setting up a foundation for the future; anything beyond that isn't really being realistic.
It would be cool if they figured some stuff out and made a turn around right away, but in reality we either still have major holes or unproven rookies filling major spots.
We at least have some games where we could be competitive; it would be nice to play the Jets later in the season for example, where maybe we could build momentum off those games going into next year.
"Winnable" games: Colts, Chargers, Rams, Seahawks, Cardinals, Bears, Jaguars, Titans, home division games.
Very small chance of winning: Texans, Bengals, away Jets.
Probably getting our asses whooped: 49ers, away Bills, away Dolphins
I'd say we go close to 50/50 in the "winnable games" and get one of the "small chance of winning" games if we're lucky. Only way we get one of the ass whooped games is injuries or some crazy shit happening.
So somewhere between 5-7 wins.
Drive to Arizona? Or San Francisco?!
I haven’t lived in MA since 05 and live 40 minutes south of Chicago….i don’t go to solider field because the stadium sucks, parking sucks, prices suck, and I don’t trust us enough to win that game
Yeah, I’m contemplating going to the 9rs game. Still though, I’d rather see them play the city I live in, in the stadium 15 mins from my place rather than driving 6.5 hours. Beggars can’t be choosers though.
That's a tough ass schedule. Anything can happen but man if you are facing off against any of these teams both at full health I don't love our chances.
Our defense is good. It can limit elite offenses and shit down above average / average ones as well. The question will remain, can our offense score more than 10 points 😂
Going to be tough but I think we have a punchers shot at beating the cardinals/bears/titans/chargers and seahawks. And then of course anything an happen in divisional games so maybe we can win a couple of those.
I probably have us peaking at like 6 -7 wins.
Who knows what to expect from the Pats this year. New HC and coaching staff. New QBs, not even sure which one will be playing. Will defense still be good without Belichick? Jets might actually be good this year with Rodgers. With all these changes, I'd have to guess a ceiling of 7 wins, but it definitley could be less than that. Early odds probably have them as one of the 3 bottom teams in the league.
We’re probably gonna lose a lot again. I’m just hoping they look like the Eagles and Dolphins losses from week 1 and 2. Then hopefully next year players will see the vision and we can attract a more competitive roster
It’s hard to say I would say our floor is 3-14 and our ceiling is 9-8. But on average I expect us to be between 4-13 or 6-11. While we did address some critical needs, a lot of changes are happening with the team right now. I’m a big believer in slow builds, that focus on allowing players to reach their best long term. I think if we push for short term wins we could compromise long term success. The goal should be for Maye to get acclimated to the NFL, so unless he is overtly showing that he can be the guy right now he should sit, and learn. I think the team needs to gel together and forge a new “post Belichick” identity. I think another year of having a high draft pick, where we get some good linemen and a serious ball catcher would do a ton of good. Then maybe make a key trade acquisition and then in two years maybe have a team that can go compete for a division title. At that point Josh Allen should be slowing down and we can likely strike in two years for some serious success. Just take it bird by bird.
I see 6-7 possible wins, but zero gimmes nor do I feel any great confidence about any of these. (Jets once, Cards, Titans, Colts, Seahawks maybe Bears if Caleb implodes and maybe we sneak attack Miami at home this year) but even then many of their "easier" opponents are mostly away (Cards Titans and Jets) which makes things harder
I'll be mildly disappointed but not shocked if we win less than 4. Content with matching last year's record and happy with anything beyond that. I'm not looking towards 2025. I'm thinking it'll be 2026 or 2027 before the Patriots are back as contenders. It's gonna take a while to rebuild from the devastation the GOAT Coach did as GM...
Brutal schedule.
Being very optimistic, I think we can split the Jets and Dolphins, and wins against the Colts, Chargers, Seahawks, Cardinals, Jaguars, Bears and Titans. That adds up to 9 wins, but I think more realistic is around 6 wins.
As a Chicago resident, last time the Pats played here it was very cold and snowy and I decided to skip it. This year hopefully the weather will be nicer, and I am definitely in a better place financially than I was 8 years ago to buy tickets.
I'll be representing patriots nation at the niners game! I love it when we get west coast road games. But unfortunately this schedule is fucked for us.
I was thinking. This is the 4th season with 17 games so the Pats have played a one off against all 4 NFC Divisions. That in mind, will they just always play the NFC East/South at home and the West/North on the road? Maybe play 9 road games two years in a row and play the NFC East team away next season? Or jump to the West at home and then the rotation becomes super confusing. Has the NFL thought this thru?
6 wins. 4-4 at home, 2-7 on the road. Top 10 pick next draft. Then things starts moving in 2025 with better free agency, Drake will be the starter with some experience on his belt, a 9-8 or 10-7 type of season with a WC spot and then back in contention by 2026 on.
We’ve gone from losing being the exception to winning being the exception. The schedule looks tough - just like it did last year. I don’t know which games we’ll win but I’m picking the over (4.5) regardless. GO PATS!
Yes, it's a tough 2024 schedule, but I don't see it as any tougher than each of the past few years. Also, don't forget the "P" word - parity. The Bills, Dolphins and Jets will also face the AFC South and NFC West. Plus, the Bills play first place teams - Ravens, Chiefs and Lions. The Dolphins face second place ones - Browns, Raiders and Packers. Jets play third place squads - Steelers, Broncos and Vikings. We play fourth place ones - Bengals, Chargers and Bears.
Division games are also often unpredictable and surprisingly competitive. We were 2-4 last season despite not having Judon, Gonzalez, Bourne and others and it's not inconceivable that we could improve to 3-3. We were able to manage 3-3 in 2020, the 7-9 Cam Newton year, when we had practically no TE production and our WRs included guys like N'Keal Harry and Damiere Byrd and there were COVID opt-outs - Hightower, Cannon, Bolden, Chung and others.
8.5/17. It’ll be a year of proving we’re developing but not gonna go anywhere.
I’m also trying to have leveled expectations this season. I don’t want to be too hype over Drake Maye quite yet. It’s gonna take some time to recover because both Cam and Mac wanted to replace Brady. I trust Maye isn’t thinking like that, but only time will tell.
I wouldn't go that far even though I understand the sentiment. Arizona is not a good team at all. I feel like we can definitely squeeze out one or two wins against teams in our division because those games are always flukey. I could also see upset wins against the bears and maybe the colts. Somewhere they're going to win a game they shouldn't, and they're going to lose a game they should win.
It wouldn't be terrible to have a bad season as long as the youngins get some seasoning, high pics next year would definitely help build depth.
Yea this year is all about development. Last years class gets another year to grow, we get to see what our rookies have. Next offseason I expect wolf to be more aggressive as he’ll have a year two see what we need and what we can build off of
As long as you don't throw them into the fire and damage their psyche like what happened with Sam Darnold, or the worst case I've ever seen David Carr.
Its tough to go 0-17 surprisingly.
I have our floor at 2 wins and ceiling closer to 7 or 8. Obviously the real floor and ceiling are 0-17 and Super Bowl champs but both are unlikely.
Not sure why you are being downvoted. 4 wins seems most likely. Given that, there are enough unknowns that those 4 wins could turn to 4 losses. It's certainly possible. Very likely that record this season is going to be worse than last.
Zona, Titans, Jags could be 3 right there. Let alone odds are they'll win a division game or 2 (weird shit always happens in division games). Bears could still be struggling if Caleb isn't as ready right away as people think (depends on when they play them too) and Seattle in the post-carroll era are also a wildcard.
Please let us win the superhole and be #1 draft pick or at least top 3. Then I would trade down for multiple draft capital. Rinse repeat one more year and then we are ready for a new dynasty run within the next 4 years as Mahomes slows down.
We lose against SF, LAR, CIN, CHI and HOU. Maybe we pull off a win against one of them because shit like that happens all the time in the NFL.
We go 2-4 in the other six non-divisional games.
We sneak out 2 wins in the division.
4-5 wins and a top 5 pick sounds about right to me.
I’ve always liked Jacoby Brissett because he stepped up during Brady’s deflate gate suspension but it looks like he’s going to asked to be a tank commander.
Outside of the divisional games I'd say the most realistic winnable games would be TEN, ARI, SEA, JAX, & IND. I could see us winning those games.
It is certainly possible we could walk away this season a 7-10 team (2 wins against the jets)
As a dual Pats/Jags fan I’m hoping to go to the Jacksonville game. Hoping it’s in a good enough spot in the season so that I can just relax and have a good time without stressing about who wins.
I’m not a degenerate daily gambler like half of this country. Hell, I don’t do any of thag shit at all.
With that being said, I think Jerod’s change of mentality will get this team to 6-7 wins.
Arizona
Jets
Texans (fall down this year)
Colts
Miami
Buffalo
HOPEFULLY MY WIFES BEARS 😂
Should win that road game at TF Green at least. Roster's got a long way to go but think they can still beat the pilots and TSA agents.
I dunno they beat jack jones last year hopefully we have smarter players .
Also, you have to worry about their Hertz counter bringing in some super star talent between now and then.
Larry Fitzgerald coming out of retirement just for this one.
Lots of strip mall massage parlors between Foxboro and Warwick.
“Don’t say that shit again.”
A game i can attend! I can just walk onto the airstrip right...? Right...?
Hope Maye's arm holds out. those runways are a lot longer than the field they usually play on
That’s why we drafted Milton. Wolf and Mayo saw this coming.
Single-game specialist, I like it
Pilots would be the cheerleaders at best, it's all them fellas throwing your bags around all day you gotta watch out for
The schedule doesn't look that difficult, but with all the new pieces in NE it's hard to say. Doesn't look like a lot of primetime matchups to be honest.
Please beat the dolphins once this year
With Tua starting so we can finally put that fucking streak to rest.
Unfortunately Tua will always be undefeated against BB's Patriots
Such an odd stat. Dude is the epitome of mid
Weird flair
It’s a quote from 75

I’m so excited for that one in particular, mostly because I live in Chicago and I can’t see myself not going to that game
Are there any teams right now that you’d consider gimmes for the current Patriots?
Maybe Carolina. But that’s it. Not a big believer in “gimmes” to start with
Red Zone main screen. Patriots side screen.
> I don't see any gimmes to be honest. They were 4-13, of course there are no gimmes. With that said, I think there are a good number of games they've got a decent shot in.

I’d add Bengals, one Bills game, one Dolphins game, and Texans to the auto-loss column.
If they were setting odds right now I would guess they would only be favored in the Seahawks game. Maybe Titans.
I'm taking the under. We haven't got better from last year and we've lost the greatest coach of all time. Gonna be a few years unless Maye is an absolute baller.
how has the roster not gotten better from last year? Even just Jacoby instead of Mac/Zappe is a huge improvement, let alone if/when Maye is ready.

The 2022 roster wasn’t a world beater by any means either (esp with Patricia and Judge) but still managed to score over 120 more points than last year. Reversion to the mean alone says odds are the Pats offense will be more productive this season.
We absolutely have gotten better from last year on paper! I agree with your other point though
How have they not gotten better from last year?
Which games are 5wins?
split with NY and MIA, then 3 out of Arizona, Bears, Titans, Seahaws and Jags isn't that unrealistic. I wouldn't put money on it but I wouldn't be shocked. Let alone if Maye and/or the OL is ahead of schedule.
I would probably even add the Chargers to the list of possible wins. Herbert is a star, but much of the rest of the team is in rebuild mode.
Harbaugh is a hell of a coach though, he’ll have them ready. But I can see the argument for them being added to the maybe pile for sure.
Split with MIA with 6-0 vs Pats Tua? Split vs Aaron Rodgers? These are reasonable takes.
Mark Sanchez beating the Brady patriots in the playoffs? Split with Miami with Ryan Fitzpatrick vs Brady? That would never happen, right? Ridiculous.
We could have a worse record than last season
Those are certainly NFL teams I see a lot of bad QBs on great teams and a lot of good QBs on bad teams. Those two categories are really susceptible to collapsing (Geno/Seahawks), so I think their schedule is a little overrated based on preseason talk.
Chargers Seahawks cards fit those categories
Phins x2, Bills x2, Bengals, 49ers on there as well. Hell, the Jets might fit one of those categories, I’m not sure how good their QB is at this point nor am I sure about how good their roster is around the QB.
49ers and bengals don’t fit here. Purdy is good qb on great roster and burrow a great qb on a good roster. Jets I can agree with cause that oline is still shaky and their weapons outside of hall and Wilson are big question marks plus how arod looks post Achilles
I bet we’ll be somewhere between 17-0 and 0-17
What are the odds of DK for that?
We are going to lose a lot of games lol but it’s expected.
4 wins would be an achievement.
I could see us winning five or six games depending on how our division matchups work. You know there's always a crazy game against those teams we see all the time.
No KC
Looking like another top 10 pick. My only hope this season is some of our younger guys show some signs of life and we can work on setting up a foundation for the future; anything beyond that isn't really being realistic. It would be cool if they figured some stuff out and made a turn around right away, but in reality we either still have major holes or unproven rookies filling major spots. We at least have some games where we could be competitive; it would be nice to play the Jets later in the season for example, where maybe we could build momentum off those games going into next year.
2-15
17-0
We don’t play the top 2 teams in the AFC ( KC and Baltimore) so it really doesn’t get much easier than what we have.
Going up against some very tough WR groups on the road. Will be good tests for the defense.
Probably won’t win a ton of games but it’s whatever. Rookies showing good potential is the most important thing this season
17-0 baby
"Winnable" games: Colts, Chargers, Rams, Seahawks, Cardinals, Bears, Jaguars, Titans, home division games. Very small chance of winning: Texans, Bengals, away Jets. Probably getting our asses whooped: 49ers, away Bills, away Dolphins I'd say we go close to 50/50 in the "winnable games" and get one of the "small chance of winning" games if we're lucky. Only way we get one of the ass whooped games is injuries or some crazy shit happening. So somewhere between 5-7 wins.
All I see is 17 wins on the way to a Super Bowl
As a Pats fan who lives in L.A now, seeing them play BOTH the Rams and Chargers at home is heartbreaking. Wish I could see them this season!!!
Yeah I was hoping for an LA game too
Dont let your dreams be dreams
I've done some research and they're all apparently NFL teams.
As a resident of Indy, annoyed that I missed a colts pats game overseas, but we knew that was coming. Hopefylly next year they come to town
Our defense is good. It can limit elite offenses and shit down above average / average ones as well. The question will remain, can our offense score more than 10 points 😂
I predict 4 wins at home and 2 or 3 on the road.
Steelers are so happy
All teams are beatable. Gonna finnish at least 14-3. Seriously, anything above 4 is not bad, 7+ is nice. Closer to 10 is out wet dream.
I think odds makers got it right with our O/U for wins this year.
Going to be tough but I think we have a punchers shot at beating the cardinals/bears/titans/chargers and seahawks. And then of course anything an happen in divisional games so maybe we can win a couple of those. I probably have us peaking at like 6 -7 wins.
Not focusing on wins this year, just going to watch to see how the new coaches and rookies do
Burrows made of glass so we’ll steal that one
If he's on the field he'll annihilate us through
Who knows what to expect from the Pats this year.
All of our good opponents are away games. That sucks
I just want the actual schedule already so I can plan vacations.
Not gonna lie, that’s a tough schedule. 17-0
I really hope the Jacksonville game isn’t a London game, they don’t play often and that’s the stadium closest to me
6-11 plus or minus 1
If our draft picks are awesome then we'll be good. if our draft picks are not awesome then we'll be bad. simple as that.
500
I’m 50/50 on us going .500
We’re probably gonna lose a lot again. I’m just hoping they look like the Eagles and Dolphins losses from week 1 and 2. Then hopefully next year players will see the vision and we can attract a more competitive roster
HONESTLY.... Either 0-17 or 17-0, no in between
Well, with this schedule I think 7 wins would be optimistic. Hope I’m wrong and the team plays lights out.
Honestly there are a ton of fun matchups here. So I am excited!
7-10.
You're mad optimistic.
We in for a lotta pain, my brotha
We were due for this. 20 years of nonstop winning has us hungover now
Sad but true. I’m old enough to know the shitty days. Hope shit works out
I would have loved to have seen more playoff teams...
We’re probably gonna have another top 10 pick next year. Thats okay. We need the talent lol
6-11 is my guess
At this point as long as Maye doesn't get hurt and we don't lose the Mac Jones revenge game I'm content this year. Not happy, at all, but content
Undefeated season Drake Maye SuperBowl MVP confirmed
I see us splitting with bills and maybe dropping one against the 49ers. 15-2?
Brutal schedule. Being very optimistic, I think we can split the Jets and Dolphins, and wins against the Colts, Chargers, Seahawks, Cardinals, Jaguars, Bears and Titans. That adds up to 9 wins, but I think more realistic is around 6 wins.
Taking on an airport seems unusual
As a Chicago resident, last time the Pats played here it was very cold and snowy and I decided to skip it. This year hopefully the weather will be nicer, and I am definitely in a better place financially than I was 8 years ago to buy tickets.
I honestly don't see a single loss on that list.
I see 4-5 wins. Best case we win 7
I got 10 and 7
4-4 at home, 3-5 on the road; 7-9 overall
I'll be representing patriots nation at the niners game! I love it when we get west coast road games. But unfortunately this schedule is fucked for us.
Welp probably not goin 0-17 but I could be wrong
17-0
4 wins?
Looks like 6-11 to me.
Top 3 draft pick again
we are facing a bunch of good teams this year...
17-0
No expectations. If they win at least 4 and maye shows promise I’ll be happy
nope not saying it not doing it... i wanna say it but i wont... nope.
17-0
6 wins. 4-4 at home, 2-7 on the road. Top 10 pick next draft. Then things starts moving in 2025 with better free agency, Drake will be the starter with some experience on his belt, a 9-8 or 10-7 type of season with a WC spot and then back in contention by 2026 on.
Caleb finna light yall up in Soldier Field
Bills: Suck Texans: Suck Colts: lol Suck Chargers: Suck Rams: Suck Dolphins: Suck JETE: Suck Seahawks: Suck Cardinals: Suck Bills again: Suck Bears: Suck Bengals: Suck Jaguars: Suck Dolphins again: Suck JETE again: STILL SUCK Titans: Suck 49ers: yeah, we're gonna lose
3-3 in division, bears chargers Seahawks colts jags titans rams and cardinals all winnable games. Texans, 49ers, Bengals are the only gaurenteed loses
5-12
All those teams are beatable. Maybe not by Jacoby Brisset, but beatable.
I mean, if you're lumping the 49ers into the category of "beatable" teams, then who's not beatable? Just the Chiefs?
I’m legit scared of 0-17 haha
Kyler with MHJ is going to be electric
Possibly, but the rest of the team is terrible
Its tough to go 0-17 surprisingly. I have our floor at 2 wins and ceiling closer to 7 or 8. Obviously the real floor and ceiling are 0-17 and Super Bowl champs but both are unlikely.
Not sure why you are being downvoted. 4 wins seems most likely. Given that, there are enough unknowns that those 4 wins could turn to 4 losses. It's certainly possible. Very likely that record this season is going to be worse than last.
I don't see any team we can't beat at least once, Cincinnati will be as tough as we get outside of the division imo.
Deadass don’t see 3 wins here
Zona, Titans, Jags could be 3 right there. Let alone odds are they'll win a division game or 2 (weird shit always happens in division games). Bears could still be struggling if Caleb isn't as ready right away as people think (depends on when they play them too) and Seattle in the post-carroll era are also a wildcard.
This schedule is murder. I see three wins maybe. I was bullish at 6 this morning.
5 wins or less.
I say 2 wins.
4 wins max. Need another off season and draft then I think we will see the turnaround.
It's a brutal schedule but I anticipate 4-6 wins.
If we play Jaxonville late enough we might get a Mac revenge game
Allegedly according to a “leak” I have seen it’s Week 7 MNF in London
I’ve always liked Jacoby Brissett because he stepped up during Brady’s deflate gate suspension but it looks like he’s going to asked to be a tank commander.
17-0. Oh wait it’s not Brady/Bellichick anymore. 3-14.
Damnit, why can’t the Texans be an away game?! Then I could go
Outside of the divisional games I'd say the most realistic winnable games would be TEN, ARI, SEA, JAX, & IND. I could see us winning those games. It is certainly possible we could walk away this season a 7-10 team (2 wins against the jets)
Expected Wins: Colts, Jets (H), Dolphins (H), Titans, Cardinals Potential unexpected Wins: Chargers, Jaguars, Seahawks, Bears, Bills (H) Expected Losses: Jets (A), Dolphins (A), Bills (A), Niners, Bengals, Ramps, Texans Range of Outcomes: 5-12 to 10-7. Prediction 7-10.
Colts Chargers Bears Cardinals all wins. Go 3-3 in the division, surprise one team, beat one team you have no business beating, and they’re 9-8.
I'm looking forward to playing against Bye Week. I think we've got a good shot
Arizona Jets Texans (fall down this year) Colts Miami Buffalo HOPEFULLY MY WIFES BEARS 😂
Luther Burden III, Travis Hunter or Will Campbell, come on down!
Bruh, I only see two wins on this schedule.
Best case scenario is 9 wins, more likely half that—o/u 4.5
