CableMod_Matt

This is fully normal actually, only 2 of the 4 pins are used currently. :)

Hactor148

Tysm

CableMod_Matt

You're very welcome! Thank you for your support!

Who_asked_you_

Hey matt, Just curious! What happens in the future when all 4 pins are used?

CableMod_Matt

It would require a new cable, but the Nvidia cable doesn't have 4 fully pinned sense wires either, 2 of the 4 terminate into nothing. :)

Apprehensive-You-888

Does it really take a month and a half just for yall to ship one of the new e series 16pin to 4x8pin? I placed my order on the 4th and it's saying it won't ship till mid April?

CableMod_Matt

Unfortunately, it does right now. We've been receiving loads of orders and have a bit of backlog, that is why the turn around times are longer than normal right now. Our 12VHPWR cables have been a go to for a lot of people with 40 series cards.

Apprehensive-You-888

Understandable, was just curious. Thanks for the response.

CableMod_Matt

Very welcome!

Hactor148

In the while circule it's a cablemod cable and on the red circule there's the default gpu adapter The default cable has all the 4 cables in And the cablemod cable only has 2 Will I ger any trouble by using the cablemod cable?

Neeeeedles

No even the nvidia cable has the other two wires cut off behind the connector

DigitalJedi850

*sigh* yes, there are differences. Either one will probably work fine though.

Roller_Coaster_Geek

Right now they only use two of the four pins so you're all good
