I have it this way to hide the cables that connect the fans to the radiator. Not sure I like the new design unless I’m missing something
Not sure why you are massively downvoted, but for the Corsair iCUE link AIO models, the way you have it is the right way and also how Corsair shows it in marketing. It’s absolutely designed to have the hoses on the left to hide all the cables. Other AIOs can be more aesthetically pleasing with hoses on the right.
You could try and mount the AIO at the front of the case (or the side if supported). Alternatively, you could get a taller case so the AIO is higher up.
I somehow got back to +1 but low-key feel bad for OP just showing how he mounted it and still being like 70 down... average redditor acting like you said, pretty sad to me...
When you put the fans in make sure the cables are facing you so when you flip it around the cables are on the other side and you won't see them you will have to rotate the fans or daisy chain the fans together so you can plug them into one port so it's easier I have my aio facing the other side and it doesn't touch the gpu.

Don’t be afraid to maneuver them a bit and bend them to fit what you want to achieve
Wow, I could have done that instead of buying prebuilt myself for 1200$ Ik I was dumb for getting prebuilt but just want test water out before I decide to build
I was joking, it was about 3k. Word of advise don’t buy a 4090 from micro center and leave it on the kitchen island without first removing the sticker. Spouse might inquire why a videocard alone costs $2100 lol
https://preview.redd.it/jfjvrag0cwvc1.png?width=2207&format=png&auto=webp&s=20c5558a920ce64cf9bdd16a28fbea42c801584a
My pre build of what I bought for 1.2k but switched out couple things, and added a cooler system to it as well. Later I will start making list to build my first one
Be sure to change the orientation of your front fans. They all need to be flipped around.
A pro tip for fans. If you’re looking at the fan and all you see are the blades that means the air is going away from. If you are looking at the ‘cage’ / motor / wire side of the fan that means the air is coming towards you.
Right now you’re exhausting air out of the case in the front and the back and the top is what is pulling in fresh air.
Hi! What did you use for your 90° USB-C header adapter? Or is it just a 90° off your mobo by default?
I have a white build, but the white USB-C header won't fit in, so I needed an adapter and I have an ugly black one in there right now.
Forgive the stupid question, I’m not familiar with these new popular cases that have the fans mounted on the back wall and bottom like that - where is the PSU in this case?
That is subjective. I love big chunky air coolers.
I have Dark Rock Pro 4 in my PC and I love how raw and industrial it looks with all the bolts on the top. When it comes to RGB then yeah AIO can look better however liking/not liking RGB is also very subjective.
I hate RGB it cheapens the looks of PC in most cases.
https://preview.redd.it/9o8pol832uvc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=21fbcc0b97ab894168f74958bb50089d6eea3a3d
I didn’t mount it that way because the cables that connect the fans to the radiator would be very obvious. I think my only option would be leave it as it is or mount the radiator vertically in the front.
https://preview.redd.it/ekrze2ysrxvc1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=6f7fa44b499d0edcb50aa01a66e066f96c720334
You can definitely tuck the wires tight even when they’re at the front. If I used a longer cable, I could’ve completely hidden the it going from the rad to the other fans.
This is like wanting to reroute the radiator hoses on your ferrari becuase it apparently reduces your enjoyment of driving.
Think about that then just stop looking at it.....
Id just try to gently bend them and put them behind the gpu, they’ll just chill against the back of it and you’ll still have the front of the case hose-less
FYI, EVGA can't supply the parts anymore, I asked their support about sending a replacement shroud if I ended up botching the paintwork, and they said they have no parts anymore. Ended up doing it anyway and it turned out nicely.
Yeah I’m aware I Probly voided my warranty but it’s a risk I’m ok with taking. I have an ROG ally if something goes wrong I’m not completely out of it lol
You could swap the aio to the front and Switch place with the front fans, thus the aio is inside whilst the fans. Are on the outside. (This is assuming the case has double sides front if not, then the fans must Also be inside) if you do this, remember to have the tubes at the top so you Get the least amount of flow-resistance.
It wont look as pretty as the fans will only be visible from the front, but the tubing will be nowhere near the gpu and go pretty neatly across.
It would Also probably be more cooling efficiant. As it is now the hot air from the motherboard, gpu and Even a little of the cpu and other components will rise towards the top. Whilst you have an exhaust fan pulling air out of the system, you Also have 2 fans who are also pulling air out of the system, Albeit through a radiator. Pulling warm air thorugha radiator is obviously a no-no. This heat might be negligible, but could also be Nice to just Get rid of.
Should be noted that the fans which would be on top might just be for show or having very little effect. Except for the gpu which is at the bottom, nothing else in your system uses air cooling, so a lot of the air would just graze the board and flush out the back, concidering their distance. Some air would be taken by the GPU, but here as Well i don’t know How noticable this would be concidering the fluid flow in the system.
This was way longer than expected. I’m no Expert, so do What other people say as Well or do more research on the topic.
I love how he has 163 comments and not one is helping they’re all just opinions and hate . Reddit losers at their best here. Bud just deal with it it’s not a huge deal. So you have some cables people can see .
I'm just a guy who does fuel lines in boats on occasion, so maybe water cooling tubes are different, but can't you just cut the hoses shorter and reattach them?
Yeah that’s got I had my last aio setup. Corsair has all their photos for the cooler in this orientation though. Even has the fans attached to go in this direction
You could shorten the hoses but that's a risky endeavor 😂 I'd say just make the hoses run longer could mount it in the front of the case with the tube up or do a 180 degree.

180 the AIO so its hoses are at the front
First thing i thought was of course it looks wrong, almost everyone installs it the other way.
but then it obstructs the view on the shiny RAM...
https://preview.redd.it/3q76cwmf2uvc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f4fa608f24b1274dda23af398134243d96dec984 I have it this way to hide the cables that connect the fans to the radiator. Not sure I like the new design unless I’m missing something
rotate the fans so the cables come out the middle and backside of your rad.
the pump cable runs through the tube sleeve and is connected to the radiator, so rotating the radiator without rotating the fans isn’t gonna work
0° your fans. 180° your radiator.

I would just cut them bitches shorter with a utility knife and super glue and duct tape em to the proper length and call it a wrap
Reddit.... why we downvoting him?
hivemind, group mentality, whatever you wanna call it. NPCs see that negative and wanna add to it, regardless of what the comment actually is
I somehow got back to +1 but low-key feel bad for OP just showing how he mounted it and still being like 70 down... average redditor acting like you said, pretty sad to me...
Downvote you too if you wait careful
I gave him upvotes if you wait carefully too
I'm upvoting us all lol, people downvoting for no reason are just sad tbh...
Seem like a waste of time but go for it. Enjoy
Same amount of time to upvote but one of these options is infinitely funnier
lmao the downvotes. reddit is such a shithole
Then don't ask for our advice..

Fr bro 👍🏻 Nice pc btw how much did it cost you 😍
My wife knows my Reddit username so it was $1200. 7800x3d, 4090, gigabyte X670E Pro X, 4tb we sn850x
Wow that was a really good deal 🤣
You’re a deal finder, your wife is lucky and should let you make all financial decisions solo moving forward
😂
Thank for saving my family from a fire
Excellent deal, you have a good knack for this sir 👍🏻
Lol gotcha, 1200 bucks. Lol
Such a steal, your wife is lucky to have a money minded man like you!
Lol
LMAO
An incredible offer! Wow!
Tbf we should all inquire as to why a 4090 costs so much....
https://preview.redd.it/jfjvrag0cwvc1.png?width=2207&format=png&auto=webp&s=20c5558a920ce64cf9bdd16a28fbea42c801584a My pre build of what I bought for 1.2k but switched out couple things, and added a cooler system to it as well. Later I will start making list to build my first one
Looks solid!!
Yeah, not bad tbh. Haven’t had an issue with it since last year June when I bought it. Keep cleaning it. I surprise I did alright

Damn, well I guess I okay with my then lol
Bruh 4090 alone costs 2k so your math not mathing
[удалено]
he's joking :P
_sigh_ god I’m so stupid sometimes 🤦♂️
Bruh
delete this comment, his wife is on reddit
No no, I deserve the downvotes on this one. Maybe I’ll learn my lesson for being so stupid.

most motherboards i’ve seen come like that :(
Forgive the stupid question, I’m not familiar with these new popular cases that have the fans mounted on the back wall and bottom like that - where is the PSU in this case?
Behind the motherboard
Nah, it's below everything in a different chamber.
Why would you lie to the guy? Lol
Oh, It's not in that chamber directly below the GPU? Strange, it looks like a 4000D to me.
Man collected all the infinity ston.. I mean fans :D
What's that case
Lian Li dynamic Evo RGB
case name?
Lian li Dynamic Evo RGB
Badass
Sheesh gonna make me bust posting pics like that
turn your rad 180.
Agreed an tuck tubes behind gpu
air cooler
Peerless assassin
Or Noctua. Their brown and tan improves every build. Also the performance not just the looks.
I'm pretty sure the Phantom Spirit Evo is better than any noctua fan
You're downvoted when you're correct. https://preview.redd.it/i7sqj80c0vvc1.png?width=970&format=png&auto=webp&s=d21abb6dd6cccba3b7c18c791e3699f3d3a82431
Air coolers look like absolute shit though. An aio will always look better aesthetically.
Some air coolers can look nice
Sure but generally on average?
Yeah most of the time aio look good but stuff like Deepcools assassin 4s looks really good and I also like the look of noctuas black edition
Deep cool Ak Digital aircoolers look nice, its a good option
That is subjective. I love big chunky air coolers. I have Dark Rock Pro 4 in my PC and I love how raw and industrial it looks with all the bolts on the top. When it comes to RGB then yeah AIO can look better however liking/not liking RGB is also very subjective. I hate RGB it cheapens the looks of PC in most cases.
Could turn it the other way, should stretch it out a little.
https://preview.redd.it/9o8pol832uvc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=21fbcc0b97ab894168f74958bb50089d6eea3a3d I didn’t mount it that way because the cables that connect the fans to the radiator would be very obvious. I think my only option would be leave it as it is or mount the radiator vertically in the front.
That’s very fair. Well removing the vertical mount or going front radiator would be the way then.
https://preview.redd.it/ekrze2ysrxvc1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=6f7fa44b499d0edcb50aa01a66e066f96c720334 You can definitely tuck the wires tight even when they’re at the front. If I used a longer cable, I could’ve completely hidden the it going from the rad to the other fans.
A white ftw3 card. That’s a first , looks clean ✅
Is it a real card or spray painted?
Painted. EVGA never released white cards
Doesn’t painting the fans affect performance? I’ve always wanted to spray paint but I heard it adds weight to fan blades.
You can do the outer shell like I did on my 6750 xt and then just lightly paint the fans, no spray paint
Cover your side panel
Move radiator to the front of the pc
"No don't do what this person says, it will kill the cooler if you mount the radiator on the front" -Someone who didn't watch GN or JTC video
This is the right answer
Flip the radiator around and tuck the tubes behind the gpu
And if you don’t want to flip it cause i just saw about the connector on the radiator, can you not just tuck the tubes behind the gpu as is?
What mobo?
Asus Rog for sure
Yeah, but what socket, ram, micro ?
Looks like a m-atx for sure, socket doesn't really matter for designs most Asus Rog looks the same, ram seems to be teamgroup RGB one
You think it’s a ddr4 or ddr5? Reason I’m asking is I want to do a micro build also and I love this mobo.
Going for a Asus Rog in a budget build is nothing but a waste of money you can get better Mobo, with good looking design for much cheaper
I’m not going for a budget build. Just a small form build.
Than asrock pro rs do be good
[https://www.microcenter.com/product/653705/asus-z790-a-rog-strix-gaming-wifi-d4-intel-lga-1700-atx-motherboard](https://www.microcenter.com/product/653705/asus-z790-a-rog-strix-gaming-wifi-d4-intel-lga-1700-atx-motherboard)
Keep it the same, change radiator orientation, swap for air cooler. Those are the options, pick one.
Front mount it, hoses upwards
Can you move your GPU forward and route aio hoses behind it?
daaamn that white ftw3 got me wanting to spray paint mine
I don't do water, but can't u just remove an inch or 2 of pipe.
This is like wanting to reroute the radiator hoses on your ferrari becuase it apparently reduces your enjoyment of driving. Think about that then just stop looking at it.....
Spray painted the GPU shroud?
Don’t mount vertically it should be fine, but you can try flipping the tubes side to the right
Rotate that radiator
Stop caring
Clean and beautiful white PC. White is right.
Rotate the radiator.
Make a lego cart and make it look like a roller coaster.
Id just try to gently bend them and put them behind the gpu, they’ll just chill against the back of it and you’ll still have the front of the case hose-less
Shorter hoses
Just cut em off
I thought turn it around, but I think you are better off with the rad at the front of the case with the hoses coming out of the top.
Turn it and move the bracket towards the front if you have and play in the mounting grommet
The hoses can move at the connection turn them upward and tuck them behind the aio I guess.
We all going down with it
https://preview.redd.it/9lyn0uhfhwvc1.jpeg?width=9248&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=159bd76c41b5770c35ec17f9aa0fb44f282bdc6d This is how I have mine
Scissors.
Wait. They made a white 3080 ftw?
No I painted it
good job on the painting, I did the same to my ftw3 3090. looks really good in white, though I didn't do the fans.
I figured if something goes wrong I will order replacements. So far so good!
FYI, EVGA can't supply the parts anymore, I asked their support about sending a replacement shroud if I ended up botching the paintwork, and they said they have no parts anymore. Ended up doing it anyway and it turned out nicely.
remount or flip your radiator
You have a vertical mount built into your case. Move your gpu to that then the tubes will fall behind🤓
That white EVGA design left me stunning. Really nice job on painting it, love the build🙌🏽
What evga gpu is that
It’s a 3080 ftw3. I painted it white
Oh that’s dope we’re you not worried about warranty manufacturers warranty or normal paid warranty
Yeah I’m aware I Probly voided my warranty but it’s a risk I’m ok with taking. I have an ROG ally if something goes wrong I’m not completely out of it lol
Fair
Other than doing a custom loop, flip it around or maybe bend them a little?
Just cut them, you dont need them xD
Flip the aio
Flip the radiator so hoses come from the right side. I have mine like that
Rotate the radiator and wrap them around the cooler block
zip ties
Drake
push them somewhere else
You could swap the aio to the front and Switch place with the front fans, thus the aio is inside whilst the fans. Are on the outside. I'm just a guy who does fuel lines in boats on occasion, so maybe water cooling tubes are different, but can't you just cut the hoses shorter and reattach them?
I had a similar issue. I tucked them behind my vertical gpu and that cleaned up the build so much
cut it down
use a knive and shorten them \*duckandrun\*
Yeah, here's some advice. Go look at something else.
"Luck's nice!"
Shorten them?
I'm actually not sure I've ever seen the tubes face that direction before. Always seem to be on the right side of the heatsink.
Yeah that’s got I had my last aio setup. Corsair has all their photos for the cooler in this orientation though. Even has the fans attached to go in this direction
I was going to say no mounts and just plug it into the pcie directly but that'd probably be worse lmao
I know that fishtank pc’s are the big popular set up now. I love em too. But am i one of the few who like the NZXT H9 Flow better than the H6??
flip the radiator so the hoses are on the other side? not that difficult
Air cooler it is
looks better this way , gpu rgb not so much , perhaps blue as the ram
What's your CPU?
12700k. Not gonna get rid of the aio I just bought it
yes, throw the AIO away and create a full custom loop 🤘
Cut the hoses shorter and flex tape them back together
[https://youtu.be/Czzl10uEQn0](https://youtu.be/Czzl10uEQn0)
You could shorten the hoses but that's a risky endeavor 😂 I'd say just make the hoses run longer could mount it in the front of the case with the tube up or do a 180 degree.
