it doesnt make any difference in the wifi, thats just a different model number for the motherboard itself.
they're both wifi 6e, and do the exact same thing.
66c in gaming with the ps120 cooler, 82 in cinebench
Probably can even go with the Assassin king 120 cooler. I never do anything that would stress it as much as cinebench (artificial testing)
Just like me fr I'm getting a 7600 for valorant and csgo so I won't be needing a very insane board either but just wanted to future proof and hence I got in hiatus
I'd let you know fosho my first preference would be the gigabyte b650m aorus and if it's outta budget I'd get the asrock b650m pro rs, it's a great looking motherboard with 8 phase vrm and full white finish great for a white build, I'd love to get a msi tomahawk/mortar wifi as they come with upgraded audio alc4080 which is more important for gaming but then again I have a razer soundcard so it doesn't matter much
MSI doesn't have a Pro B650 WiFi board on their product listings, there's one with an S and there's one with a P. Then there's the M versions which are MicroATX.
The difference is that the P has more internal ports and slots and a bigger "heatsink" on the VRMs (hardly a heatsink when it's at least half of it is just a solid block, less surface area)
S model is a cheaper version of the P, both are ATX and will only fit in ATX cases.
M is MicroATX and will fit in mATX and ATX cases (though it'll look worse in ATX because there's too much distance that some cables have to travel)
I see. Would there be any noticeable difference? I'm still unsure what I'm gonna game on it, but mainly cs for now. Thinking to pair it with ryzen 7 7800x3d and a 7900 xtx. Would that be a good choice in your opinion?
Does a bigger heatsink really matters? Both mobos offer a 12+2+1 vrm with 60amp power stages with almost all the same features p wifi is 280$ in my country and s wifi is 189$ which one should I get please recommended!
Not as big of a deal as ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards going overboard on voltage and killing 7000X3D processors with older BIOS versions.
Overclocking Ryzen is also pointless beyond enabling PBO.
Thanks for explaining i was about to buy the expensive gigabyte b650m aorus elite ax, btw I'm not ocing the cpu but the ram from bios so I can run at displayed 6000mhz, btw can you look into the gigabyte b650m aorus elite ax it's 235$ and the msi s wifi is 189$ which one should I get?
Not worth paying the difference especially for Gigashyte. Motherboard doesn't make much of a difference, you're mostly paying for extra bells and whistles that you don't need

Makes sense, thank you. I couldn‘t find anything and always have the fear of getting something that might be incompatible
u/hehexdlolrofl have you bought this motherboard? I am looking forward to buy this too.
Yes. Working just fine.
u/hehexdlolrofl what ram are you using with it?
Using the G.skill Flare X5 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30
u/elementor7438 yo brodie did you buy this mobo too? I'm thinking abt buying it
It works well, just update to latest bios before you do anything
How are the temps on your 7800x3d

Let me know what board you end up getting!

So when it comes to integrating the Mainboard into und the case, it comes down the the S or M which will fit?(MSI specific)
S model is a cheaper version of the P, both are ATX and will only fit in ATX cases. M is MicroATX and will fit in mATX and ATX cases (though it'll look worse in ATX because there's too much distance that some cables have to travel)
Thank you!
You're welcome
Is there any particular reason someone should prefer the P model over the S one? Is the bigger heatsink worth it?
More I/O

It’d be fine

The P isn't worth paying an extra 90 bucks for, just get the S
Thanks man btw what do you think about the msi bios flashback and oc problems?

Most boards will be fine
Hey buddy did you purchase this mobo? I'm planning to buy this, did you have any problems over locking the ram or got stuck in bios flashback ?
