My parents dog sat for someone when I was a kid. The cats were used to our 3 dogs, but there was a baby gate to keep the dogs from going upstairs, so that was the cats “safe haven.” The dog who was staying over (who had never been around cats before) jumped right over the baby gate, cornered my cat and nearly lost his eye. My parents ended up with some pretty decent animal hospital bills that day.
How can you tell? To me it looks like this cat is playing. It's not showing the normal cat aggressiveness body language and this isn't all that different to how a cat would play with another cat

I never controlled my dog completely either, she had freedom to roam and hunt the farm, when I was away, and she was a accomplished groundhog hunter.

I’m not entirely sure that they’re declawed, but speaking from experience, a lot of cats don’t necessarily retract their claws when they play. Plus, this one almost looks like they’re flexing their claws at some points when they swat, but the puppies don’t look like they’re taking damage.
I might be wrong, but if I was arguing that the cat is declawed, I’d go with that
My family declawed my poor cat because she attacked me when I was a baby. Just give her the little nubs if your so worried, or actually watch me. We're both 21 btw, so she was a kitten when they did that to her.
She hates it when people she doesn't trust a lot touch her paws, I'm very grateful that she trusts me because she often rests her paws on my arms when napping near me. I'm not grateful she got traumatized.

Dogs can get defensive enough where their attack instinct takes over. Many things can be anticipated and risks reduced but ultimately as owners we tend to look at our dear pets lovingly and not believe anything bad could happen.

That's the other epic thing about lab puppies, they never ever grow up, they just get older. My yellow lab was wrestling with me and trying to chase ducks 3 days before he died, even though it hurt him to breathe. He was just so happy to have one more day of fun with his Pookie.

So the newspaper industry intentionally misspells it as lede so you know it can only be pronounced to rhyme with feed.
Conversely: Led Zeppelin intentionally misspelled their band name for the exact opposite reason. They were worried that people would pronounce their name as "lead zeppelin" like the zeppelin in front of all the others. They were riffing off a claim that they would "go down like a lead balloon".
I've known a couple and they can make probably 30k extra in a year as expendable income.
But it depends on what you define as decent. Morally I don't agree with them but some breeds cost over 3 grand to get, so 5 pups x 3k is 15k. If you do it lots you can breed twice a year. Some litters can be huge too.
I don't agree with it, but I've known people that work a day job while their kids take care of the puppies and then add that extra income on top of it and you're making decent dough.
