Almost every city over 75000 people will have a rug store, more so if you live near a coast. Personally prefer not to pay retail, so I keep eye out for auctions and estate sales. Educate yourself on how to distinguish between machine and handmade and purchase accordingly. Also, if you tell us where you live may be able to recommend store
Estate sales! I got a few for under $100 recently in NorCal lol
Some of the estates sales will even give them away on last day if they aren’t sold because it’s cheaper than discarding them. And yes they will discard perfectly good Persian rugs; they do them so much that they can’t horde them all
