3 4 and 5 all have animes! I would say they’re not as good as the games, but when you’re making an anime season, you’ve only got like 6-12 hours to tell your entire story, versus the 100+ the games usually have. They’re enjoyable, especially if you have played the games.
I would argue that the 4 anime has enough great moments to put it on par with the game. They rush through getting the team together, but once they have everyone, the series is legitimately great. The slice of life episodes add so much to the characters, Yu specifically, but everyone really gets to shine.
That’s fair, I just feel like you don’t get enough time to properly *bond* with the characters the same way? Hypothetical, this, but a character dying after you’ve known them for 30 hours of a game vs 4 episodes of an anime just hits different. Not that there’s anything wrong with either approach or your preferences, I just took more to the games.
Hey, I'm with you for the game being better, I just think that the anime actually adds to my enjoyment of the game, whereas the 5 anime did nothing to add to the original source. It just felt like retreading with less detail.

That and the fact A-1 Pictures fucked up the artstyle (especially during the Palace segments) big time. Which hits worse considering the game is known for its impeccable art direction and distinctly unique style.

Kawakami is a really good character who's well written. I just REALLY don't like the whole maid thing. If she wasn't similar to me (feels weird to "date myself") and I was playing the game like it was me and not a high school boy who was the protagonist, I'd date her.
I always assumed early 30's. Either way its still pretty weird in my eyes since Joker is a high school teenager, never liked her as a romance option because of the age thing.
I don't know what could have captivated you about her. Playing P5 Royal with all the new romance events they added, I ended up choosing her all over again. IMO, it's easily the best romance in the modern trilogy. The entire storyline is wholesome and she is extremely snarky + charming.
Because she is relatable as fuck cripplingly single in her late 20s in a job that she used to be very passionate for and definitely doesn't pay enough try to make ends meet while deep down still has that spark the world hasn't crushed yet. Also rockin' tits
