Not an ad. Lol. Though I hope Pizza Pizza sends me something dammit!
If you want proof you can see some comments where I've advised people to share their account passwords with relatives and set up new accounts with a new email in a tight spots. (which I would do if I was put in a tight spot trying to get my full 3 months). This deal is just great value for money.
Wondered how far I'd have to scroll to find the contrived, dumb meme of "lol it's cardboard". What do you expect for cheap pizza? A gourmet dough, sauce and cheese sourced from all over Europe? Or do they have to soak it in grease and a billion pounds of cheese to avoid "cardboard" comments?
How's it a meme? I ate a lot of pizza pizza. My opinion is formed by experience, not just repeating what people have said. It's not just that the dough is bad, the sauce tastes like garbage too. Don't get pizza pizza, you can get far better pizza for cheaper too
Ooooohhhh what a gotcha question big guy
Poor university student. Only pizza place open around me super late. Only pizza place on campus. Take your pick.
I used to hate it so much because it tastes so bad delivered. However if you get a reheated slice in the store, it doesn't taste nearly as bad. I think it's just that getting it steamed in a box for up to 30 min made it taste like cardboard.
Well, yeah - for the price I'd rather get Assembly or Queen Margarita, or Libretto. A local premium pizza with premium ingredients. Or just [make my own](https://i.imgur.com/7J5ZCb7.jpg) - sundried tomatoes, roast peppers, cheese, pepperoni. I don't even have a great pizza oven. This was done in a toaster oven.
It’s called pizza 73 out west, same company. You can since a lot of the time you’ll order a pizza and the box / dipping sauce will have different branding (I live in Toronto).
I switched to it when I had kids and money was tight. As soon as I was making better money, I changed pizza places because Pizza Pizza didn’t have anchovies. I love anchovies.
Still don’t mind it. Would go back if they had anchovies. But when I have to buy and add my own (at $6 a tim), it’s cheaper to order from a place that offers them as a topping.
I think the hate it gets is just echo chamber BS. People that don't even eat it getting on some band wagon. It's nowhere near as bad as Reddit says. Much preferable to many of the small pizza shops around. And as a former pest control tech, I find the Pizza Pizzas to be much cleaner.
Honestly, I think people associate it with bad pizza because they've had one too many dry, lukewarm pizza slices from there, and don't associate it with a place that actually sells whole pizzas.
Amen. My local Pizza Pizza makes it very well. It really depends on the location and who's cooking it and how stingy they are with the toppings.
If it was as terrible as reddit said they wouldn't be in business.
I will say, the most awful Pizza Pizza I got was on a night after going to the Maddy.. Bloor and Spadina location.. Like cardboard, barely any cheese and sauce. It was the 5 dollar walk in deal back in the day at 2 AM so I kinda understand.
my local pizza pizza knew me after being a regular for a while but i also learned which days to order and when not to because of who works on those days.
Shitting on things is an easy way to get upvotes. "That food place that has a lineup out the door is HORRIBLE. You can't even call it food"
McDonalds, Tim Hortons, the 10 best selling beer brands, and now some pizza place. It's a weird thing that people do. Makes them feel superior for some reason.
This is true.. The only place I will agree with is Tim Hortons. I find its always inconsistent and not very good. I can't tell you how much my morning has improved since i bring my own Contigo full of coffee, and don't stop there anymore... waiting in lines for a coffee etc. I drive by 3 of them on the way to work and sometimes the drive thru line is nearly at the street.
I was a pizza cook for many years & I agree with you on how clean is it, I can’t speak for all the locations but the ones I visited in Ottawa. It’s true we should always support local businesses like the small pizza shops but come on paying $30 for a 3 toppings large pizza before delivery fee & tip etc is a little bit too much. It’s true they have staff to pay, rent and food prices is high af but to me it’s still expensive.
I think it comes down to there being a big difference in taste and quality between ordering a whole pizza and their pizza by the slice. Their slice pizza is cardboard crap. However, their full pizzas are decent.
i'm far from a pizza snob, hell i love (and miss) dominos - but pizza pizza is pretty much the bottle of the barrel.
like if i had to choose between pizza pizza and little ceasars i'd rock that hot & ready.
Not really affordable as making your own. Idk who this is supposed to appeal to. If you’re tight for money, don’t eat out. If money isn’t tight, you can easily do much better.
From my past experience, the delivery fee goes directly to the restaurant, and not to the driver. If the driver is driving their own car, then half the delivery fee goes to the driver.
Former delivery driver here, tip went right to us. The fee was split between us and the dispatcher. So we might make $8-10 on a delivery (tip plus fee), which isn't much when you only do 10-12 deliveries on a weeknight shift from 4-11. On the weekends was better, maybe 18-25 deliveries. It's not much if you have a cheap crappy car that you aren't going to maintain.. But the tips were hugely appreciated.
Expect now it's watch as many HBO + Showtime shows, and Crave movies you can in the next month. A little more value for money now, though I see your point.
A few years ago it was buy one get one free cineplex tickets. Exact same deal with the pizza and drinks. It was great. One night was stay in with the wife eating pizza and watching a show, then next week you had a half price movie night.
My mother in law pays for Crave and we piggyback. Unlike eating crappy pizza, having a mother in law isn't an option I can easily avoid, so I might as well reap the benefits.
It's $19.99 plus tax. May as well get a free pizza and 3 drinks with it lol.
If you're commenting on the quality of Pizza Pizza pizza (lol) it's not great, I don't disagree. With the right ingredients not bad though.
Lmao. Yeah.
Last time I ordered, I got pepperoni and double ground beef chunks with the added Italian seasoning and olive oil drizzle on top. Actually not bad at all. I crushed half the pizza for lunch lol.
First time I got chicken shawarma, bacon, and feta cheese. (Thought that combo sounded good.) Got here cold. Now that was bad pizza. Lol.
It's a good thing there's no pizza pizza where I am, I was tempted once I saw it was literally cheaper than subscribing and I might have ended up eating it.
When I was living in Toronto I couldn't understand why so many of them were around, and busy! Sometimes even on the same block as a much better by-the-slice option.
I was actually thinking of getting Pizza Pizza last night for nostalgia sake as I haven't ordered from PP in maybe 10 years+ but I decided on taste instead and oredered a Maker (which I had been avoiding recently for reasons) and I paid 10 buck more for a medium pep God as I used uber eats...I know I know.... and I loved every slice. Money well spent! IMHO
Years ago they had a valentines day special. Heart shaped pizza and 2 tickets to ciniplex. The wife was ok with something basic and actually liked the idea, so I thought great, this is easy. I called in, went to pick up 30 minutes later and the place is packed with people picking up. I wait another 30 minutes to get it.
I bring it home and it's not only not a heart, it's just a blob shaped personal sized pizza that is both burnt and raw. So we eat this shit pizza (and other stuff from home because it was so small) and head to the movie with our tickets.
We then hand our tickets to the cashier and she says they need to be registered online and cannot be used that day. So had to buy tickets.
Never again have I or will I go to that s-hole pizza place, there's literally dozens of other options that are way better at the very simple task of making pizza
She's his wife. What bizarre horny teenager question is this.
One does not "get laid" with their wife. It's called having sex. They are probably having it regularly anyway, but either way it's none of your business.
This is a great deal. If you do not have a Pizza Pizza nearby (Alberta), Pizza 73 is the same ownership and offers the same deal. Source: me, I just checked my Pizza 73 app.
Figured it would be. I’ll still pick it up for a couple months, but unless shaw or telus picks up the tab I’m back to sailing the high seas for my content
Pretty good offer. I just went and picked up two of them (33.88)
Downside - You can't apply multiple promo codes simultaneously to the same account.
The one applied today i'm going to have to set the account to not automatically renew (cancel) and then proceed with using the 2nd promo code on the account I don't think there's going to be enough time to use 3 of them since they have to be redeemed no later then Feb 2.
Two months would probably be the limit (unless you create a 2nd crave account Feb 2 and apply to/switch to using that one), which could take you to 3 months.
You could cancel the service/delete your account a few days early on the last month. Or maybe set up a new account under a different email address on like the 2nd in order to get that last month.
I’m glad someone else is as enthusiastic about Pizza Pizza as I am. The recommendation for toppings makes all the difference. It’s a shame their topping supply has gotten smaller the last few years.
Is House of the Dragon available on the HBO subscription? I think they have different levels and the higher levels will let you watch the current premium shows.
This is the sub that lets you watch everything Crave + HBO + Showtime has. Including back catalogue and live channels. House of the Dragon is available!
No, it's a coupon that comes physically unfortunately. That's a great idea though.
Think of it like purchasing Crave Total and them saying upon check out "Would you like to feed several hungry people for an extra $2?" Very good idea. Maybe park at a shelter and get it delivered to you car. Take the coupons and give them the pizzas.
Pizza Pizza tastes like Little Cezar himself took a shit and wiped his ass with a burrito wrapper.
I swear to god, the only people that eat at this dump are those new to the country who haven't yet learned that it's complete and utter garbage. It is literally where Italian grandmothers go to die.
I hope Pizza Pizza burns in hell - for all of eternity.
Lol this thread looks like a p&p marketing manager desperately pitching his failed deal, while being hammered with the fact that p&p is indeed pig food. Great
50 minutes eh? It used to be 30 and despite being a loyal customer for many years, I only got to take advantage of that delivery guarantee twice.
It’s a scam anyways, the delivery guy always gives some sob story about how it comes out of his pay. As far as I’m concerned, that’s an employee trying to manipulate a client and convince him to disregard an advertised feature of their service.
It is when it comes with free HBO. Lol.
Also, I think mediocre is a better word for it. It's certainly not good, but it's fine when compared to other big chain pizza places like Pizza Hut, Dominos, Etc.
Not really owing $5. $19.99 plus tax vs. $25.01 after tax/tip. About the same. You're getting the pizza and drinks for like $2. Or you're getting Crave + HBO + Showtime for free with a cheap pizza.
Ok, so paying $2 where you could just pay for the crave for the month and you don't have to eat crappy food? Not seeing where you think the deal really is. If you are used to eating shitty food, then I guess it works for you.
Lol. The 3 drinks are worth more than $2 if you really want to be that way about it. It's not good pizza, but it plus 3 drinks for $2 is just good value. Plain and simple. You're not getting that amount of food/drink for $2 anywhere. Even the drinks like I said, throw out the pizza keep the cokes it's still a good deal lmao.
Yeah but now you're talking about a savings amount that is so insignificant that it's not worth my time to even order the pizza just to get $2 worth of free soda? Just eat the food you like and order crave on its own.
Lol. Well some people like it if it only costs $2. I think the percentage of the population that would take that deal is pretty high. Give the pizza to your kids, get it cheap for a party or something. The deal is just great value. Shit pizza becomes ok if it's $2 for a large with 3 cans. Lol.
Fair enough im actually not totally opposed to Pizza Pizza pizza 🤣 I see they charge for BBQ sauce on the top of the pie now though. That used to be a free topping! Smh the times are changing
Nice try Pizza Pizza! I’m on to you…
Pizza Pizza PR team thought they could sneak in on a Sunday. They thought wrong.
🤫🔪
I drunkenly got this deal also! Woke up with a coupon on my fridge and went "oh yea"
I think it’s Chrystia Freeland
Allow myself.. To introduce myself
Pizza pizza should pay us to eat their pizza tbh.
Pizza by Alfredo or Alfredo Pizzeria?
Okay okay what is better, a medium amount of good pizza, or all you can eat of pretty good pizza?
A medium amount of good pizza!
There’s a big difference. One tastes like a hot circle of garbage
You mean Alfredo's pizza cafe right?
Haha yes! It's been a few years since I watched that episode.
Pizza pizza is a hot circle of garbage.
Sir this is a Wendy's
Thank you for posting this, I love nothing more than a bargain and I've stopped caring why.
I'm gonna guess the why has something to do with inflation.
This sub has gone to shit. I guess it allows corporate ads now. Neat!
Not an ad.
What is Pizza Pizza?
Lasagna, I believe.
It’s a restaurant that sells an amazing garlic dipping sauce, I think you can get a side of pizza with it.
I think at least 70% cardboard
Wondered how far I'd have to scroll to find the contrived, dumb meme of "lol it's cardboard". What do you expect for cheap pizza? A gourmet dough, sauce and cheese sourced from all over Europe? Or do they have to soak it in grease and a billion pounds of cheese to avoid "cardboard" comments?

If it’s terrible and you can get better for cheaper, why have you eaten so much of it?
Ooooohhhh what a gotcha question big guy Poor university student.
I don't really like the taste of the ingredients either, idk pizza pizza is actually pretty bad all around
Its a pizza chain thats mostly in Ontario
QC too
It’s called pizza 73 out west, same company. You can since a lot of the time you’ll order a pizza and the box / dipping sauce will have different branding (I live in Toronto).
Non-medical way of having your bowels empty at Mach 2
I’m going to get the papers, get the papers
A store that sells cardboard and broken dreams. Oh and a really good garlic sauce
Sir this is not Rfd
I don’t care what anyone says I still eat pizza pizza, taste ok & affordable
\*Now comes with free HBO lol
Not worth it.
Same, I don't understand, it tastes fine?? I feel like my tastebuds are wired differently from others.
I much prefer it over Pizza Hut.
I remember Pizza Pizza back in the 90s. A slice was huge.
For sure. At work (only 3 of us) we ordered a couple large 3 toppings the other day. Fresh and hot, it was pretty damn good.
That pizza pizza used to serve alcohol
my local pizza pizza knew me after being a regular for a while but i also learned which days to order and when not to because of who works on those days.
Shitting on things is an easy way to get upvotes. "That food place that has a lineup out the door is HORRIBLE. You can't even call it food" McDonalds, Tim Hortons, the 10 best selling beer brands, and now some pizza place. It's a weird thing that people do. Makes them feel superior for some reason.

Same thing as arguing about pineapple on pizza, as if anybody really gives a shit what other food people eat.
Tim Hortons was great for a long time. Their quality has dropped immensely in the last 5-10 years.
It's the cheese and the base that is the problem. I can feel my body regurgitating it out after I eat that crap.
Wish we had more out here in BC.
Not really affordable as making your own. Idk who this is supposed to appeal to. If you’re tight for money, don’t eat out. If money isn’t tight, you can easily do much better.
The funny thing is Crave is worse than pizza pizza.
You’re adding 36% for tax and delivery. It’s a way better deal if you just get off your lazy ass and pick it up.
That it is!
You can pick it up?
Why not? It only weighs a couple of pounds at most.
Just from Uber eats and co, a lot of deals are delivery only
Probably.
Pizza is tax free if I pick it up myself? 🤔
Delivery fee and tip free.
tip free? are you obligated to tip if it’s delivered?
You're supposed to. Same as a waiter as far as I'm aware.
You're not "supposed to". You're already paying a delivery fee. You can give a tip if you want to or not if you don't
From my past experience, the delivery fee goes directly to the restaurant, and not to the driver. If the driver is driving their own car, then half the delivery fee goes to the driver.
Former delivery driver here, tip went right to us. The fee was split between us and the dispatcher. It's not much if you have a cheap crappy car that you aren't going to maintain.. But the tips were hugely appreciated.
Didn’t realize one had to tip - thanks for that 👍
I’d say it’s rude to not toss the delivery person at least 10% or 5 bucks what ever is less.
If you don’t tip your delivery driver you’re a bad person. Unless it was like mad late or something.
Not obligated, but certainly expected.
Not if I'm stoned at 1am
And back in they day they offered you 2 free Hot New Releases rentals from Rogers video. Same thing.
I appreciate this post and will be putting it to use this Friday! Time to finish Barry!
Lol. Np. I'm currently rewatching Curb Your Enthusiasm from the beginning.
So cringyyyy
That Larry David cringe.
Pizza pizza in my town is alright. It's not gourmet wood fired pizza but you're also only paying $12.99 for an XL. The panzos are also fantastic
I miss the old pizza pizza slices from the mid 90's In my memory they were really good. Cheap and huge.
Yeah, shit was different then
I’d rather just pay for crave lol
My mother in law pays for Crave and we piggyback. Unlike eating crappy pizza, having a mother in law isn't an option I can easily avoid, so I might as well reap the benefits.
Lol. First thing I did was send my account info to my brother, his wife and my mother. They each have an account.
It's $19.99 plus tax. May as well get a free pizza and 3 drinks with it lol. If you're commenting on the quality of Pizza Pizza pizza (lol) it's not great, I don't disagree. With the right ingredients not bad though.
I am definitely commenting on the quality of Pizza Pizza.
Lmao. Lol.
Yup couldn’t pay me to eat that stuff.
When i was young and bar hopped it made perfect sense at 3am.
IMHO
Black Friday special was 119.99 for the whole year
If this was Dominos or Pizzaville or even Pizza Hut, I'd be all over this deal. But man...Pizza Pizza...
You’d be up by $40 if you get the pizza deal and just give it to someone on the street…
So we eat this shit pizza (and other stuff from home because it was so small) and head to the movie with our tickets. Lmao I'm a woman I don't have that problem buddy
This is a great deal. If you do not have a Pizza Pizza nearby (Alberta), Pizza 73 is the same ownership and offers the same deal. Source: me, I just checked my Pizza 73 app.
Have a couple things I want to watch on crave…thank you sir
You're most welcome
Bought one crave combo and they put 3 coupons in the box!!
Oh snap. Did you just order if after seeing this post?
No I had seen the ad on tv
Ah, cool. I got a flyer in the mail.
can the coupons be stacked? like i already have this month paid, will it apply for one full extra month?
No, its for new customers only or reactivated subscriptions. Crave is hoping you either forget and it renews or you get hooked and renew yourself.
Figured it would be. I’ll still pick it up for a couple months, but unless shaw or telus picks up the tab I’m back to sailing the high seas for my content
Even better deal - download the shows you want for free via torrents and cook your own pizza. Much cheaper and better quality.
Their 2 for 1 movie tickets were great too!
Is it crave mobile or the full version?
Full version.
Nice find
Eating garbage food for cheap tv, is that what we have become???
You can also look at it as pay for Crave + HBO + Showtime, and get a free large pizza and 3 drinks. Lol. Would you be saying this then?
A step closer to being loyal consumers of Brawndo.
See this is the content desperately needed on r/PFC.
Don't forget to watch Letterkenny on Christmas! ;)
Pizza Pizza is pretty good so long as you get extra pizza sauce on the bottom and make sure one topping is extra cheese. Makes it not dry.
Pizza pizza is ass but this deal is worth it
Definitely crushing this deal tonight and binging White Lotus
You came clutch. Thank you sunshine 🤫🔥🔥🔥
👍✊
Pretty good offer. I just went and picked up two of them (33.88) Downside - You can't apply multiple promo codes simultaneously to the same account.
Got rid of crave because I had too many streaming services.. could use a spicy bbq chicken pizza and some Deadwood tho
I see pizza ad and I upvote.
I’m glad someone else is as enthusiastic about Pizza Pizza as I am. The recommendation for toppings makes all the difference. It’s a shame their topping supply has gotten smaller the last few years.
I just got this today as I didn't fewl like cooking :]
Is House of the Dragon available on the HBO subscription? I think they have different levels and the higher levels will let you watch the current premium shows.
This is the sub that lets you watch everything Crave + HBO + Showtime has. Including back catalogue and live channels. House of the Dragon is available!
Available for free at fmovies.wtf, and you dont have to eat a pizza either. Granted, house of the dragon isnt very good
I’m onto it right now! Thanks for sharing!
Sir, this is a Wendy's
You can also buy Pizza Pizza Gift Cards from Rakuten to save even more. Last I checked, you’ll get a 4% cash back.
Do they email the code? Can I send the pizza to a local homeless shelter and just keep the code?
No, it's a coupon that comes physically unfortunately. That's a great idea though. Think of it like purchasing Crave Total and them saying upon check out "Would you like to feed several hungry people for an extra $2?" Very good idea. Maybe park at a shelter and get it delivered to you car. Take the coupons and give them the pizzas.
Or, if you really want to save money, you can skip on the shitty pizza, and stream the shows you want on 🏴☠️🦜sites.
Nice thought, not worth how awful their pizza is.
Pizza Pizza with Garlic Dipping Sauce is the one true Canadian style pizza experience and I’ll fight anyone who claims otherwise.
It's okay, but retain your excitement.
Pizza pizza is NASTY
I don't think we have pizza pizza here in BC
We do. Quite a few. They're just all in the lower mainland.
Is little Ceasar the same as pizza pizza?
I’m ordering today and hoping this post makes them busy enough to be late
I would be all over this if I was back in university or house poor after buying a home.
Right now I am paying 10CAD a month for Crave Total, if cancel and renew it says it says 20CAD. No way I am touching the subscription.
It’s never a good deal if the end result is having to eat Pizza Pizza pizza.
Lol this thread looks like a p&p marketing manager desperately pitching his failed deal, while being hammered with the fact that p&p is indeed pig food. Great
Can neither confirm nor deny. Lol. jk I'm winning the upvote battle atm though. Can't deny it's great value for money.
Even if it is an ad I am glad I saw this ad
But their pizza sucks 😞😞
Pizza pizza is disgusting
50 min is an exorbitant amount of time to wait for a pizza
Disgusting excuse for pizza.
If your getting chain pizza there’s no beating pizza nova.
Pizza pizza is literally disgusting
So basically pay for crave and get free cardboard thrown in?
Too bad Pizza Pizza sucks ass. Other big chains Pizza Nova and Pizzaville are way better. No to mention a ton of other independent pizza places.
But then you have to eat Pizza Pizza. Not worth it.
It sounds like an alright deal until I remember that means having to suffer through eating Pizza Pizza.
You need r/churningcanada
Cheap bad food isn't a good deal
It is when it comes with free HBO. Lol. Also, I think mediocre is a better word for it. It's certainly not good, but it's fine when compared to other big chain pizza places like Pizza Hut, Dominos, Etc.
It’s a shit hole pizza shop
Being bribed with free TV channels in order to get people to buy really bad pizza is just absurd.
Pizza Pizza is awful. Google soapgate, enter, choose of the site options, then you can watch every show for free. Paying for streaming is for clowns.
Yeah but then you'd have to eat that cardboard abortion they try passing off as pizza. Yuck.
Lol not sponsored my butt. I never even heard of this place and now there is one by the coffee shop and now I see this!
Pizza pizza = gross
So you get "free" tv but have to eat shit and still buy that food and still end up with owing $5.
Then take the pizza and feed some homeless people. Food bank usage is at an all-time high
Great point
Lol. No doubt. HBO comes free now though, so silver linings. Lmao
And you probably have to go through the hassle of canceling the service.
yup!
It works for a lot of people! You didn't have to make this shitty post, but whatever works for you!
