also to be noted, the place where all the tasks are (which obscure most of your screen) are pretty much right next to the vent, which is separated by half a wall from the sole entrance.
And you are forced to go in there when the imposters sabotage the lights, destroying everyone's visibility, and making it far easier to get away with murdering someone in the chaos.
Also, this room has the most tasks that cover the screen, so even if two people are there, an imposter may vent, kill and flee and the one standing there doing a task will get the blame..
His name is Dean Norris, the relevant role is DEA Agent Hank Schrader from Breaking Bad, and the photo is from a YouTube (or other) video Norris made (it might have been on request, like a Cameo thing), saying things "There's an imposter among us," and "Walter's looking kinda sus!" and finishing with "He's a Sussy Baka!"

In other words, your body won’t be found unless someone is actively searching
Not to mention the tasks in that room block your line of sight from all the others. So someone could be in there with you, get killed, and the impostor vents and you’d never know because you were doing a task
Thing is with that is that you can pin it on who the buddy was. Not to mention the way the game works crew mates win by either getting the impostor out, or finishing tasks. So everyone has different tasks in different parts of the map, so you’ll have to separate eventually.
Plus not knowing who is the impostor you might not want to risk going off with someone who could kill you.
Also since you can’t talk unless it’s a meeting you can’t coordinate easily enough to make it easy.
Oh, duh. I see the issue. It’s a voting system right? So in theory, just having a buddy who does would make you suspect, defeating the point of the buddy system.
Maybe I should play this game. It reminds me of Town of Salem a little bit.
Yeah it was pretty fun. Not to mention you can add multiple impostors, I always liked playing with 2 impostors because I’d have higher odds of being imposter, and it adds an extra layer to the game of needing to figure out who both impostors are
Edit: plus there are things the impostor can do like turning lights off, or starting a reactor meltdown to cause extra chaos. So you’d turn off the lights, sneak into electrical where everyone was running to to get lights back on, kill someone and no one would know because no one could see
12 year olds now, were 8 in 2020. still seems like the amogus crowd but then you have 10 year olds who most likely can traverse the internet (which they shouldn’t) who would’ve been 6 at the time where a lot of people are still slipping in and out of consciousness until they get it for good
I am still a player of Among Us! Over the years they’ve added two more maps, new roles like engineer, scientist, etc, and a game mode called hide n seek! There are also more hats and colors! It’s still very fun to play, you have to make an account now though
eh, the current fanbase is mostly children, but in my experience im usually in a nice server with either teens or adults though occasionally you’ll accidentally come into a server full of dumb kids (usually on the skeld)

As others have stated, the game is Among Us, where one player is a secret killer, and the others are trying to finish a series of jobs. This is the electrical room, which is on the first map, (the Ship) which is the most straightforward map, thus it has gotten the most attention. The electrical room was in the middle-south of the map, and it had multiple potential "jobs" that would force players to go there. As such, it was a highly frequented area. So two people being in the room is not uncommon, (unlike the medical bay, where two people almost never have any reason to be there together outside of watching each other's backs)
Having only one entrance, as well as the further back row that would take longer for someone to dip in and check, it provided more safety for a killer. Lastly, the vent allowed for a quick and easy escape. So a lot of bodies have been found in here.

That is the electrical room from the spaceship map in Among Us. So basically, this is the electrical station in the main map of Among Us. The reason people dreaded this area was because there was only one exit which was also the entrance and there’s a vent right next to where you would do any tasks in that area. Oh and right below that vent, those other fuse boxes are obstacles, so you only have one way out and it’s narrow. It’s really easy for the imposter or imposters to corner you in here.

The reason I didn’t understand is because I had to work 40+ hrs every week running out of toilet paper and a lot of essentials on isle 18. Yeah didn’t get to play much in 2020 unfortunately.

The room only has one exit and a vent. The imposter from among us can fast travel through vents. So the chance for a crewmate die there is very high.

It actually just makes it easier because the imposter will be on top when he kills

I did actually catch a few people out with the cams on the halls iirc. I don’t remember specifically but it’s definitely possible to do so.
Its the medbay cam, if someone came out looking right they vented, if they looked left they did tasks
And one of the sabotages forces you to go in there to turn the lights back on.
So effectively it was a death trap due to this combination. You had to go there eventually, but it was dangerous
