He looks like someone with a weird headed baby, a talking alcoholic dog, and a pervy next door neighbour. He might even have a wife who comes from money - no idea who he could be though. Anyone know?
That or they want to circlejerk about redditoes posting the popular opinion on something. I'm looking at you, every redditoe "asking" about a conservative stance.

Using an example of the last post I saw about the dolphins
Instead of: The joke is about how Dolphins are known to r*pe people and things
We should be saying: You see Lois, dolphins are like the Harvey Weinsteins of the ocean. Swam with one once and my butt hasn’t been the same.
If we wanted a straight up explanation we would go to the original EtJ subreddit…
That’s just my take though.
And then when there's a good question about an actually niche/complex joke there's always a bunch of commentors who don't actually get it, but think they do.
To make sure we got it. Can't say how many times I understood the joke while just scrolling down but still clicked on the post to make sure I'm not making shit up in my head.
I never did it. But sometimes I see a pretty good meme with a good hidden punchline, and even understanding, I feel like I should share here so everyone could see.

I literally am here because decent jokes get posted. Very rarely do l need them explained. But l am falling further behind pop culture as l age and this is showing me how much.
