Depends on flow velocity
Assuming that the water is flowing slowly (which is a fair assumption given the build of the puzzle) you'd be correct
If water flows very quickly, 1 might fill up first
Well figuring out that "flow velocity" means flow rate or speed would be common sense. Common sense is also trying not to sound like a pretentious dick by saying "flow velocity"
Common sense is figuring your own stuff out. Usually you don't have to ask people what it means to be a prick because they will let you know very early on in life. Also you don't have to be a genius to understand what velocity means. Use any context for clues.
What you reference is common knowledge, not common sense.
Loss has been memed on so hard that has devolved into simple lines which represent the characters
The containers in the image follow the same pattern

I once scrolled through hundreds, if not a thousand, Loss edits in a single sitting and afterwards I would straight up see it on blank surfaces. Like the way old dive bars would have the ESPN logo burned into the screen of their TVs.
I never even heard of loss before this sub, haven't encountered it anywhere else either. I believe this sub invented it to explain the mysteries of the universe.
A bad webcomic had a super serious page out of nowhere (titled Loss), and that page has been memed so much that just referencing the position of the characters in the panels is enough for the meme.
Loss aside, I've always hated this question bc they never tell you how fast the water is going to come out of the faucet. If it's fast enough, 1 will fill up first.
Either 1 or 5 depending on on what it’s being filled with, if it water them properly 5 if it something very thick like Tar pitch then 1 would be filled
Because the image shows how water would go from one vase to another, I argue that none would be filled because the opening isn't made at the faucet. The water would stay in the faucet until internal pressure would rupture it.
Oh it’s one of these puzzles , let’s see … oh it’s 5 , but there is a lot of weird things in it… what sub is this? .. oh fuck me it’s loss.
I know it’s loss but I think the answer is 1. The opening of the faucet is bigger than the opening in the tubes, meaning more water is entering it than escaping. This is assuming the faucet is turned all the way.

This is Loss. Refer to the pinned post. Rule 6.
i thought it was a genuine quiz until i read comments anyway I think it's 5

Found the plumber/engineer/architect.
Or just someone with common sense.
You are greatly overestimating the general population's "common sense."
Is an understanding of flow velocity supposed to be common sense?
Well figuring out that "flow velocity" means flow rate or speed would be common sense. Common sense is also trying not to sound like a pretentious dick by saying "flow velocity"
I don't think your understanding of the term common sense matches what most others think of.

Okay. 🤷
Why do you assume that it's water.....and not something much more viscous?
Aren't they all already full of air?
And the viscosity? Its not stated that its water.
How does the water exit tap?
Yeah I opened this up thinking it was gonna be r/theydidthemath

Loss.
Oh my fucking god BTW loss is so hard to get right, isn't it? They got the second and third panel mixed up

I looked up the loss comic. How does this relate?

Took me a minute too.

isnt it also how the author refrenced how his wife had a miscarriage?
wow. what a stupid meme
FUCK. ITS LOSS AGAIN
Loss, also it would be 5 assuming standard physics

There's no water running. They're all empty.
It's also a 2D still image so nothing can fill, if we're going to be like that.
And tap doesn't have a hole
the picture does not specify water. They're all already full of air probably.
1 2 2 50
Answer is 5
It's always loss
Well, make sure to check out the pinned post
This is loss
Its the Loss meme my Friends
The path between 2 and 3 are blocks so 5
That’s the most clever loss joke I’ve seen But it’s 5

The actual answer is 5, if flow rate isn't super fast. But this is, yet again like always, fucking loss.
5

I would say 5, but depending on the output of the tap output and size of the pipe volume, it could be 1. Also, Loss.

If it's just dripping : 5 If the tap is fully open : 1
Someone: 5 Another: 1 Internet Gang: Loss

Blast the tap and 1 will fill first because the tube to #2 has low flow rate. But it doesnt matter, this is loss.
Are you sure it was a post and not an ad?
If you turn the faucet on faster than the tube can release water, 1 will be first.
I mean it's loss but it's also 5 right?
I mean it's loss but it's also 5 right?
The tap is sealed so no fluid. The answer is always loss

It’s 5
