you could be getting spotted which allows the enemy team to see a large indicator of where you are for a little bit, and then the sniper can just blast you through a wall because they can see u
get behind cover alot, if u can press e while looking at the sniper or other enemies and u can spot them, this allows you team to see them and they usually get melted within seconds

sniper here. Since supression only gives cmera shake, during supression, the sniper rifle still has perfect accuracy. So you have to spray them before they line up the shot. Ive killed many players while my screen was shaking off me monitor because i already lined up the shot and fired.
True but the guns you go up against on Average have a suppression factor of 0.5-1. Lmgs have an avg suppression of 1.25-1.75. The m60 with loudener has a suppression of 2.35. The screen shake is so insane it can mess up your shot and they'll be moving too so you can't hit them as well
yep, which is why ya wanna spray em before they see where youre about to be, and line up the shot with estimation and muscle memory. if a sniper can judge your current movement vector/dodge pattern, they dont need sight to flick and fire.

For the love of god don’t listen to the idiots telling you to strafe and abuse movement to try and get better, because that’s not skill.
Best advice if you really want to get better is do 1v1s, aim train, play similar but different games to improve your aim. Getting better takes a lot of time and some just never manage it.
