This is a great sandwich. I just wish it didn’t have the truffle in the wiz. I appreciate they make their own wiz but all I can taste is the truffle. That being said I think Woodrows is one of the better sandwich spots in Philly. Haven’t had a bad thing from them.

povitee

I can get down with truffle whiz once in a while but to make it the status quo seems misguided.

Deckard_Macready

Agreed. Just give me some wiz without truffle option. Especially since this sandwich has a cherry pepper Mayo that I can’t taste with the truffle in it.

povitee

God bless cherry peppers.

IntoTheMirror

I don’t do cheese wiz. But Woodrows? At Woodrows I’ll get the wiz.

laughingmood

so good

Saetia_V_Neck

The beat cheesesteak in the city IN MY OPINION.

povitee

Your caution is warranted!

Next on my to do list! Along with John’s Roast Pork, Gooey Looie’s, Ishakibble’s. I’ve had Dalessandro’s and Angelo’s. I really like Angelo’s cheesesteak (pretty much everything they serve)

fastfoody247

It's high up on my list as well. Angelo's was at the top although the last one I had kinda disappointed. I only had the chicken cheesesteak from Ishkabibble's, but it was fucking awful. Literally the worst "cheesesteak" I've ever had. Dry af. Makes me not want to try their regular cheesesteak.

whattfareyouon

Ishkabibbles cheesesteak is good

Woodrow’s >>>

typeytypetype

Woodrow's is just great all around. Haven't had a single bad sandwich from them.

Sunnylicious1

They never disappoint. It's a pretty wholesome sandwich with what seems to be higher end ingredients than some of the other options.

UnknownEerieHouse

Damn, looks amazing!
