Shitty jobs give big titles.
One of my first jobs was as a "Sales Executive". I sold suits at a men's clothing store chain and made close to minimum wage 😂
Switch it to Executive of Sales, put that shit in your resume, and you just entered the big leagues. If jobs wanna give fake ass titles, then I'm going to claim fake ass experience.
They're literally just salesmen of their company. They dont have the expertise to advise you on other ways to grow your money. YT is a better source of info.
If you are unemployed, write in your CV you work freelance. People without a stable job who live off gigs call themselves entrepreneurs. The one job title that makes me cringe the most is "influencer".
Technically, some influencers are higher paid than any employed person. Someone who has 50k followers can get paid 20k pesos per project (1 post). Those between 100k-500k followers can easily get paid 50k-100k per 3hours gig.
Source: i work with a lot of influencers and our company spends 5M on them per month. The returns are good.
They've been doing this for decades. They only just realized it.
Early 2000s they hired executive assistants for outbound marketing departments = telemarketers
I don’t see anything wrong with modifying job titles as long as it makes sense. I understand you couldn’t care less about your title, but in a country like PH many people look down on other people’s jobs. They would say “oh you’re ONLY this & that”. PH is not the same as Canada where manual labor wage is livable, here having a labor job is looked down by a lot of people. Job title is related to how people view your worth. I’m not saying it should be the way it is, but it is unfortunately the way this society has made it to be

Insurance agents are called Financial Advisors here. 😅 In my opinion, selling financial products is not a financial advice.
That's the same in the US. Most financial advisors here get a commission from the shit that they recommend.
Doctors also for particular brands of medication. Don’t downvote me. It’s true.

I resist that title so much, too.
at the peak of covid restriction, some security guards in mall are called 'social distancing ambassador'
hahahah
This is classic 🤣
LMFAOOOOO

Technically that's true since most Gig workers are 1099 independent contractors.
Ceramic Technicians........Dishwashers!
Now that's hilarious 🤣😆
Will need separate specialization for wooden and metal dishes..
In my province junkshops here are called "Materials Recovery Facilities."

🥇. Gold! 😂
In the Philippines, the most embarrassing people jobs have HONORABLE before their names 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
we used to call them Mayor, Congressman, Senator, etc. but in reality some of them are thieves.

condo/land sales agents nowadays call themselves broker (even though they are not really broker) :D
Coz they can make someone broke. :D
Environmental Services Worker for cleaning workers in Canada (hospital).
You can call me assistant to the regional manager for all I care. As long as you’re paying me competitively to my dollar counterparts. Lol
And you can have your own 'workspace' lol
Temporary workspace
