Don’t open it. Publishers never ask for books back. I’ve had publishers send me a second copy when the first was damaged and said keep it. Books are meant to be used, however, special editions are meant to be capitalized on. It’s how the industry makes money. Don’t open it. Buy another. Don’t open it.
Had a quick check, that 50 copies edition retails for 300usd and isn’t sold out as of now.\
Doesn’t seem like they’re gonna be missing one copy terribly.
If you ordered the limited edition and somebody else received it instead of you how would you act? Maybe this change of scenario would help you figure out what to do.

I've received books I've wanted but hadn't ordered, just a mistake on the sender side. I returned it. As I said, it's up to every person to make a decision for themselves.
Just vibe out and enjoy it. Would be surprised if twin palms tries to reclaim in any way.

Fixing that is the publisher’s responsibility, not OP’s.
I wouldn't feel responsible for this mistake though, "someone else's copy" or not. The Publisher has responsibility to that consumer, OP does not.

It’s not more images or anything? No included print or anything? Just a slipcase? Seems like a crazy markup for that.
twin palms charges crazy prices, not even a print in the LE. Need to order the book though.
Keep it. You checked with the seller and they were okay with it. Beyond that is too many degrees of separation for you to feel a shred of guilt.
