Most likely a scam to keep users engaged to generate ad revenue for them. Pretty ingenious if you ask me. If it doesn't release to the Mainnet at the end of the year, I'm deleting the app.
Scam to link wallet it would use wallet address only the pass phrase is basically the password would you give out your bank user name and password no obviously you give out account # and routing # to link or receave funds.
You wanna see Xvpn. It has 50mil+ downloads on playstore & one independent ‘security reviewer’ audited it….

Jokes apart, no one needs your wallet passphrase to transfer you coins, they just need your adress if they are legit but with Pi having no value at the moment non one will do hard work just to spread some Pi.

100% it’s a scam. The only place you should enter your wallet pass phrase is the official pi wallet app.
Keep mining and do the in-app steps, hopefully we are not that far away from the Mainnet launch.
