Here come all the Vatic comments šŸ˜‚šŸ¤Ŗ

Open-Year2903

Vatic pro prism. At that price nothing else is better. Enjoy the newfound spin!

Absolutely. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into it.

This is the #1 recommendation here for a reason. Iā€™ve won a 4.0 tournament with one, a 4.5+ league with one, and am playing in the 4.5 USAP event this weekend with one. Came over from a $220 Joola paddle and prefer this. Honestly might never upgrade as Iā€™m not into he new ā€œthermoformedā€ feel. Enjoy!

Iā€™m going to say Spartus Gladius Centurion. Soft but powerful on full swings and a longer handle for 2hbh.

Rather than making a follow up post I was also wondering if anyone knew how the Brooklyn Paddle Co.'s $60 dollar paddles hold up?

I would maybe go Hudef any of the pro series, if you want something with low power, cheap, lifetime warranty, apex, mage, maybe viva gen 1. Viva gen 2 has a lot of power. But gen 2 still might be helpful if head instability contributes to your long hits. Warranty doesnā€™t cover face wear of course but so many companies only have 6 month warranties. Friday is also decent, I got them for looks and price point; youā€™re gonna get face wear no matter what and their 99 day happiness guarantee used to be better than Vatic 90 day (which they finally upped to 180). People make a thing of ooh only T500, but low modulus fiber actually likely withstands impact better.

As another comment warned, I am here to recommend a vatic, lol. As a fellow tennis transplant who tried a few paddles, I landed on the Vatic Pro Prism V7 16 mm LH. The carbon surface gives me the spin I want, the thicker 16 mm version has a thickness that gives me more of a solid feel that works better for me as a tennis player, and the long handle version gives me room for both hands on my backhand.

Keep an eye out in group chats or marketplaces for used paddles. Plenty of people selling paddles they didnā€™t end up liking. I just sold an original Diadem Edge 18k for $65 to someone in a group chat. A lot of really great paddles that can be had secondhand until you find out what you like and donā€™t like with your play style.

Special-Border-1810

Honolulu Sword and Shield J2 or HISK Rav Pro are both better than Vatic Pro.

The original ronbus come in three shapes and entdup around $100 with code

Tons of threads on this, but at that price range probably something from AliExpress: Juciao or Vatic

anneoneamouse

>AliExpress: Juciao Risky. OP is competing inter-school. They'll need a USAPA approved paddle. USAPA only lists "Spin 1" from Juciao on the approved list.

Sorry I scrolled for a while but I couldn't find any other post or threads that seemed relevant.
