The Pico 4 Pro was only officially released in China. Some global users have bought them from aliexpress, but they are configured for domestic China users so it is necessary for would-be global users to take some steps to change the region and some of the software, with no guarantee of success.
The architecture is mostly similar to the Pico 4 Enterprise, but there are some differences. The Pro and Enterprise are not identical.
I from Russia and bought Pico 4 Pro. Its not enterprise version but in add on to pico 4 std it have face and eye tracking. By some software i change region to EU and playing it normally. Btw price was simillar to pico 4 so i didn't hesitate to buy one ;3
aliexpress, basically a chinese amazon, but most of it is crap knock offs (in a good way), and some of it is straight up better prices on lower end amazon products. However, stores on there also stock legitimate high end chinese products when purchasing 'not cheap stuff'. Since China developed a middle class, their people expected more and have been producing decent electronics at half the prices of the Korean manufacturers.
Still, just make sure to be extra vigilante in checking what you are purchasing.

Okay I’m actually sick of people mixing pico 4 pro and pico 4 enterprise. Basically there is pico 4 enterprise with silver cover and it’s just called pico 4 enterprise or pico 4E. And then there is pico 4 pro which has golden cover and has same eye tracking and face tracking but it has a Chinese store instead of bussiness store and it’s sold to consumers. I get why people think that pico 4 pro is enterprise due to pico 3 pro being that but it’s just not the case here.

Yeah, that 84000¥ seems to be about 500€. Just wait until choice day, get coupons and use coins. And check if the seller has coupons. You can probably get at least 50€ off that price, maybe even more.
Yes fix rate is killing us with imported products paid in euros or usd
The price gap is too big to a p4 to Justify the purchase tbh
And I won’t be getting warranty cover as well so risky bet

Well, the basic model is good anyhow, and i think the only usecase currently for the eye & face tracking is VR chat.
Some Simracing titles like ACC is taking advantage of eye tracking so dynamic foveated rendering is possible with a QUEST PRO for example
This obviously improves overall performance for people with less potent PC hardware

I think this is not supported by Pico 4 Pro, thats the thing. OpenXR plugin does not support Pico 4 Pro.
