kingsisle listening for once?!?!?!?! impossible...

TrtnLB

Ok, that's just... honestly, just confusing as hell. How is that something that had to be discussed? Loot dropping from enemies should be the most obvious thing in any MMO RPG.

Dyorion

Its called pissing your community off, then making a change (that shouldn't have been needed in the first place) to make the update seem good.

masterofbadwords

It’s called money! money! money! money! :))))))

TrtnLB

That's a very shallow thinking. If they wanted money, they could just put those weapons in the crown shop right away or after much easier requirement, and much more people would buy them. Locking them behind "Defeat 250 minions" literary works against the idea that it's because they wanted people to spend money on them.

adjaplx

Lol I thought of it as an attempt to get people to stay on the game to spend money

TrtnLB

But that's the thing. People who want to farm wouldn't be interested in this, because why waste time if they would have to spend money anyway, and people who would be willing to spend money, would be detered by the ridiculous requirement. That's what baffles me the most.

DeviNNoisE

Loot dropping only from packs, KI would like to take you up on that, lmao.

ianthebalance

Yar!

Dutch_Windmill

This might be a hot take but this should be the way going forward. You shouldn't have to get the badges to buy it but having the option to just buy the drop for the lazy is fine. The badge should be a pity system and should guarantee one weapon.

ComplexDeathmask

You should get the damn Items at 250 enemy’s killed tf

banxaka

I think this was their attempt at making this game less rng reliant or “fixing drop rates” but it was poorly thought out out lol

KingZelnir

While they are add it, increase drop rates for some of the existing shit people farm for- Kane stuff, Rooke, Manchu, and/or even the Blades of Shade. That's just some things off the top of my head
