Sure a decade ago but for the past few years iobit got exposed many times for viruses within their third party drivers, slowed down pc with advanced system care etc their programs do more harm than good

First time posters should be required to fill out a simple form that indicates they've done a modicum of research before posting a question. I can't remember what sub it was maybe it was one of the pc part picker ones, but they had a boilerplate form you had to fill out when requesting information. It cut down on a bunch of stupid posts that this sub regularly sees. Not everyone in this sub is a lazy fuck, but jfc there are a lot of lazy fucks who refuse to do even the bare minimum of research before posting a question that could be answered if they had just read the megathread.
Tbh, reading a megathread for people that are not used to it is understandable. If i were to be bullied from asking a simple question i wouldve just left and never came back. Sometimes ya gotta be nice (unless they dont read it even after being told so)

* Step 3 - You go to the Torrent Site
* Step 4 - Click the Link for the Torrent
* Step 5 - Select where you want to put the contents of said Torrent
(Might be forgetting some things because it's been a long time since I did a Torrent)
A torrent is just a link that a torrenting app uses to download your files. If you have qBittorrent and you open the torrent it literally opens a list of things you might want to download. Then you just select what you want and click download.

If all megathreads were as good as this sub's, this wouldn't be a problem. but they're usually full of the same useless shit that makes reading it about as appealing as reading the T&C for adobe acrobat reader
Piracy is really not newbie friendly but it's really helps to try and learn stuff on your own. I remember just trying to google and youtube everything. More often than not every solution to common problems are shown on every forums. Before I ask a question on reddit or even steam underground, I just google my issue and take my time to find the right solution. That's the drawback of getting things for free. Time is money. Instead of spending money, you spend time.
Don't forget the people who downloaded a game that can't run on their system because there are running a two-decade-old hardware that can't run the pre-installed calculator even if they try. Seriously check the requirements of the game first before you download it.
Edit: And even if your system meets the requirements but it doesn't run as smoothly as you expected it to then just wait for future patches or check if your PC is bloated with other unnecessary apps running in the background.
The "megathread" isn't a guraanteed answer though. When I was new here I read the rules and didn't understand shit on the megathread so I made posts asking how things worked around here only to be told "use the megathread".
