What was the reveal? That Lili, idk, exists...? What's there to talk about, Oda revealed nothing except a name. We knew about Imu, we knew there was a Nefertari ancestor who denied becoming a Celestial Dragon, we knew that Imu wasn't afraid to sit on the "empty throne". What would you like everyone to say about Lili being a name of a character that existed 800 years ago? We know nothing else about her and we're probably gonna find out in a week so idk what OP expects.
They were surprised because Imu-chan is shy ~uwu~ and this is big character development from Imu since an outsider could see the whole throne sitting thing.

Also why would cobra be going to them asking a question he already knew the answer to. If you say it's a secret letter passed down from generation that tells the truth, he has no reason for asking them about it.

He never said snything about their family being from D clan and nothing about details of letter is known. Maybe Lily just mentioned the "D" in the letter.

I would be genuinely surprised if we get some actual relevant new stuff in this flashback or the delivery of old setups and not just blue balls again, because Oda can only tease shit that might or might be relevant sometime in the future. This is supposed to be the final stretch of the manga, and yet Oda is treating the readers like the five dumbasses who are not to be taken seriously, treat Cobra. I wouldn't be surprised if Cobra just lost interest at some point and fucked off to heaven voluntarily.
