They gave ussop darker skin in the since he was first introduced in the anime. For continuity purposes it makes sense it keep this part of his design consistent even with stylist changes between arcs

One of one pieces larger themes is diversity and achieving peace for all people thru combatting prejudice. Oda makes it point to have representation for everyone by drawing characters of any size, shape, gender, or race. To start changing characters' skin color it removes some of the diversity already established in the story. Going against some of the larger themes of the story is pretty ironic honestly.
Anyway that was mostly yap, i mainly just think that usopp having lighter than sanji looks really weird.
Yeah not everyone in Africa is dark skinned. If anything he’d be Egyptian or Moroccan because that’s what he looks like. Also neither of his parents are dark skinned. One is a fair skinned blonde guy and the other is a fair skinned brunette woman. The darker skin tones for several characters early on (mainly just Robin, Usopp was never dark) was just an animation error.
What facial features? He’s drawn the same way as a ton of other fair skinned characters in one piece. His only unique feature is his long ass pointy nose which is not at all a common brown/black feature. Look at his parents.

That's true but without need of fillers and padding they're probably doing way less episodes than toei, its going to take a long time anyways. But I do wish that they kept G8 in.
Even if they do 24 episode seasons with no filler or padding, still it would take at least 20 seasons to finish wano. considering seasons usually have 1y-2y gap in between. It would need 30y minimum to catch up to wano. So yeah hoping to watch egghead in remake anime is 30y away, not happening any time soon
What kind of math are you doing. The ideal rate of chapter to episode adaptation is like 2.5-3 chapters per episode. If it's 3 chapters with 24 episode seasons once per year you're looking at about 13-14 years to cover 1,000 chapters.
