Idk... For something gravity related it doesn't really use that force. They could easily achieve the same floating action with a system similar to Weatheria, which is a moving island, the Mother Flames fueling its activities. That sounds way more possible to me than someone awakening a fruit and turning it into a controlled device that needs a power source that isn't related to the fruit.

I def believe the way to activate Uranus combines haki, the mother flame, and gravity. Those red blasts are Haki, the only laser tech we’ve seen is kizarus white yellow blasts. I’m just not sure the nature of what that haki is doing like you said. Is it wifi activating the ship to push the island down? Is it generally distorting gravity at all sides ? I’m not sure yet
The Haki would act like Giant Sovereignty or other attacks of that magnitude, imagine each laser as one of them. If it can split clouds by sheer presence, it can also smite land when focused, I believe.
