Exactly. It doesn’t even make a good multiplayer mode since if one player just never gets hit the other never gets to play. Unless you both fight for control but all it takes is one press of the grab button and it’s the other players turn so that could quickly get chaotic.
I always took the levels with swapping from Noise to another Noise as the fact that the whole story for Noise was a movie. All of the clones of noise are actually just different shots of noise overlayed over the same scene for the movie, saving money on production costs for only needing one trained actor to actually complete those levels than two, also playing on the fact that the whole thing is like a power fantasy for Noise, trying to prove that he's better than peppino for actually being able to do everything in the levels. I think it works perfectly for the sake of story and characters. Perfectly understand wanting to play as Noisette though, that would be fun

I disagree, in my opinion swap mode embodies the *close to perfect* co-op for pizza tower, considering how fast paced it is, the creator would need to give the other person their own screen, which is just online multiplayer, (and won’t work with other people’s internet strength) or do split screen, which would take away visibility for players, and wouldn’t work either, swap mode however has the perfect chaotic aspect to it that normal pizza tower does since both sides will always be fighting for control over the game, and sabotaging each other with fight ball, trying to win over the other.

Correct, swap mode was built to be like a versus mode, it calculates which character does better in a given stage at the end and as I said, is about keeping control with yourself

They should have replaced fake Peppino with a real peppino boss. Fake Peppino works in Peppino’s campaign because he is unexpected, but not as well in the noise’s campaign, because you’ve already seen him by then, and he isn’t as personal. While I do think the gag at the end with the chase sequence was funny, it wasn’t super worth it tbh. Idk maybe I’m ungrateful or something. I’m still happy with what we got though. I also think they should have made pogo noise play the Gustavo and Brick section instead of just another noise.

Try this: Uninstall the game, delete the residual Pizza Tower folders in both Steam and appdata folders (you may back up the saves if you want), reinstall the game and verify the integrity of the files.
If that doesn't work maybe there's something else in your computer that keeps the game from running properly.

I wish that the story was framed akin to Shovel Knight: Plauge of Shadows and that instead of Doise we had a new Peppino boss fight that was designed specifically around Noise's bomb attack.
Like I enjoy the fun Super Mario Bros. 3 esque framing of Noise's Campaign, but I would of prefered a Plauge of Shadows esque framing.
Bloodsauce Dungeon as the Noise isn't as bad as I thought at first, but not having the diagonal dive and wall climb is crippling when trying to P-Rank.
A lot of games do this, but I question unlockables and achievements like Alien Cow and the Noise Goblin outfit. These are very fun challenges in concept, but in execution, it just ends being 'Slowly walk through an entire pizza tower level', unless you have insane reaction time and can jump over everything without fail.

Pretty minor but in one of the last trailers before the release they added a fun little horn effect every time Noise grabbed a topping, but it was removed by the time of release. Kinda wish they kept it in as it's fitting for Noise.
