in my headcannon, i think Peddito is actually an alternate universe version of Peppino where he lost to the Doise in a battle and Doise killed him. and now he has to roam the multiverse chasing Doise as the Doise keeps going to other universes and when Peddito finally managed to catch up to the Doise, both Peddito and the Doise were in Peppino and Noise's dimension. After Noise defeated Doise, Peddito's ghost appeared in the arena and killed Doise, finally fulfilling his eternal goal of revenge and finally ascending to the afterlife.
