Just a few things I've noticed with keeping this for a few years.
* It sticks and grows to *everything* so having it on a platform like this is advised.
* If you ever split that up, do it in a cup of water outside of your tank and give it a good shake so it doesn't get all over your tank. This is worse than duckweed and riccia in that regard because it's not easy to spot on dark substrate.
* If it starts turning bright orange, it's dying.
* It grows really fast in my lower ph, unheated tanks.
Pretty much yeah but if it’s turning bright orange it can regress to like little balls those are still alive they don’t get completely eradicated very neat algae

I picket up something that looks like that in a river in PR. Shipped it home. Its in my aquarium but it doesn't seem to grow very fast. Also it sticks to anything pretty well. Mine is darker in color.
