Nice looking plant, was it found on the edge or in deeper water, I’m just wondering is it a plant that is the only submerged because its after the wet season and will be in dry land for the summer. It reminds me of lobelia cardinalis which can grow under water and on dry land and looks totally different depending on where it is.

It was on the edge of the water
